Would you look at that, I'm updating on Xanga. I'm almost completely on LiveJournal now because it kicks Xanga ass ... and all my friends but one are on it.
Anyway, I was updating because I tried out for Fiddler on the Roof yesterday, and I think I did really well. I'm actually expecting to not get it, because apparently freshmen never make it. I'll join stage crew if that's the case, though.
I completely screwed up the dance, but I SANG MATCHMAKER PERFECTLY! Which is huge... and here is the story...
Friday: I go to my voice lesson. We go over "Matchmaker." I am really having trouble with measures 19-51 (the bridge), so we're hoping I won't have to sing that.
Saturday: Guess which measures I had to sing? But I did it! And I acted too, I didn't just sit there and sing, and the choreographer seemed to really like it. The reading went well too. No callbacks at all, and the list will be up tomorrow...
My first final's also tomorrow. World History. So tomorrow we take our history final, have a full day of school, and have to wear uniforms.
But Tuesday-Thursday we show up in jeans/sweats, take 2 finals, and go. No band Tuesday & Wednesday, and since I have 4th period study hall Wednesday, I don't have to show up at school until around 9:30.
I should be more stressed, shouldn't I? |
