Student clinic is over and now I'll be seeing paying patients!!!! I feel good about it but I feel like I'm in one of those episodes of ER when they get the new recruits in from the medical school who have no idea what they are going to see while they're working there. Briley is doing good and so is her mom. Oh by the way, I saw one of those t-shirts that says "I heart hot moms" and ever since I've been teasing Katrina about it. I told her today that the thermostat setting on our truck ought to be warm--hot--very hot-- and smokin hot wife hot. I love my baby's momma!

I am so sick of school. All I do from dawn til dusk is sit at school. I just had my second round of National Board tests ( 6 tests over 2 days 110 questions each). My wife and child have left me for the weekend and didn't bother to call me last night. Add to that the lack of sleep I've had over that last month and a half and you get the worlds worst cold. Now to top it all off it is freezing AGAIN in st louis. But I guess since it's snowing and wintery looking it is nice. Alright I just had to rant for a little bit thanks for reading

Katrina is doing well but she had a C section so she isn't feeling the best and the recovery will be longer. Briley is the most beautiful baby I've ever seen and she is doing everything babies should do. She was born last night at 5:25 weighed 6lbs 10oz and is 19 3/4 inches long. Here is a picture of our little peanut.

They broke Katrina's water last night about 10 and she got her epidural this morning at 8:30. Just waiting right now until anything else develops. She's actually sleeping through everything so that is really good. We should definitely have a baby by later on tonight. Thanks again for prayers

It's been so long since I updated and I really need to tell you all some stuff. Katrina was admitted to St Lukes hospital last friday for severe preecclampsia. She is just being monitored now but sometime later tonight they will start her on Cervadil which is going to open things up so that the baby can come. Hopefully by Friday she will have already been induced and the baby will be here. By the way we are having a little girl and her name will be Briley Ruth Brannan. Thanks to all of you who have already been praying for us, we are excited but still scared right now and it means a lot to us.

Apparently I'm too scared to come out of my house to go shopping because I might run in to Josh down at the Blue Oyster buying a sandwich! Some people choose to be ignorant when somebody disagrees with them. Then they think that everything will be better if I don't have to listen to that person ever again. Which is why I'm making this post. I agree with the view that people make too big a deal out of boycotts etc because of their faith. However, as a child of God shouldn't I care where His money is spent.

Since we are surrounded by sin, does that mean we approve of the sin? Of course not, as Paul says in Romans 1:32 "...they not only continue to do these very things ( that deserve death) but approve of those who practice them". Please if you are enlightened enough to explain this to me, tell me how spending your dollar at one coffe shop, gas station, grocery store, or any other establishment run by someone who is a scheister, does not support that person? If you have the option of going to another place that is run by someone who is ethical and has a higher conviction than the schiester, I have to believe that anyone would choose the moral guy.

Who needs to hide from sin? Of course it's everywhere. Everyone is a sinner, if you don't see that then you have a blindfold over your eyes. I can't work with anyone, even if I'm alone, without involving a sinner. If you think, though that where you spend your money doesn't matter then you have a blindfold over your eyes. Your money is not even your money. It is God's money to be used wisely as an investment in things that he values. Everyone knows the parable of the talents. Doesn't God keep watch over how you handle his belongings?

To summarize; spend wisely, don't judge people who don't

Oh and Josh I know you aren't gay despite what Andy and Wayne told me.
