Welcome to the Sisterhood, girls!

Tuesday, March 01, 2005

In the Spring of 1995, the first Asian-Interest Sorority established at Binghamton was launched by our seven founding mothers. Four years later, four ambitious women brought Kappa Phi Lambda to Baruch College on August 20th, 1999. Over the span of three years at Baruch College, Kappa Phi Lambda's Theta Chapter now stands 31 women strong. We strive to strengthen sisterhood amongst women by providing service and promoting cultural diversity to our members and our community. We aim for academic excellence, keeping in mind the importance of education and learning as the key to strength, awareness, and fulfillment.

Holding true to the ethics that have made Kappa Phi Lambda the largest Asian-interest sorority on the East Coast dedicated to Pan-Asian culture. After a short timespan of 10 years, we are located up and down the East Coast and in Midwest:

- SUNY Binghamton, A Chapter
- SUNY Buffalo, B Chapter
- Syracuse University, G Chapter
- SUNY Stony Brook, D Chapter
