So, i basically don't use this anymore. How many of my old subscribers from back in the dark ages still are even on xanga? Call this a "ben wynia xanga reading census". (Now watch when i get like 1 comment.)

I'll go ahead and provide a quick update on life.

a) Life is busy. getting ready for west point and finishing highschool. And i suppose I should find time for debate there too.

b) I got pulled over today for doing 42 in a 25. Got a warning. Thank God it wasn't officer hernandez. (Go back to Mexico!)

c) Spent my day getting 6 shots, 2 in each shoulder and 1 in each forearm. Got the blood drawn. I suppose it's nice to know I won't be getting Polio, Hep A, Hep B, or any of those other ones. And I got a batman bandage. Can't go wrong there now can we? I ripped that one off because it was in an awkward position, now I just have the two on my shoulders. Nothing better than these dorky cartoon bandaids.

d) I went and got fitted for my army boots a few weeks back. Aren't you all jealous? I get two pairs of stuff your not even ALLOWED to buy. Once I get them I'm going to go running in them to break them in.

e) Burger kings triple stacker. unbelieveably good. and only 23812949036978908790867 calories. Grabbed one on the way home from workout last night.

f) The weather is superb. I went running tonight, and got plenty of fresh air. It was great.

g) I actually work now. Yes, shocking, I know. I work at a small greenhouse out in plain city. The owners are mennonite, but it doesn't seem to bother them that i'm a foul future army officer. The work is allright, little rough on the back. My back still has kinks from a nasty hit sophomore year JV game.

I'm going to sleep. Myspace is cool.

I think my remaining college essays could all be written simply by taking paragraphs from essays I have already written, and pasting them together.

Christmas break was never intended for college applications and math tests. I'm one unlucky guy.

EDIT: new profile picture which is honestly hysterical. I blame it on the photographer, who thought it would be good... *rolls eyes*

Pictures from liberty. With captions. I must say this batch of pictures is exceptionally good.

These are likely the last football pictures I will ever post. So be happy.

We lost the game, but we played hard, and thats all I can ask of myself and my team. I enjoyed playing football, and will always remember the good memories I had.

Getting jacked by their cornerback.

Lockerroom at halftime. Candid view of me and kenny (on right) discussing the beneficiality of our planning to stay up all night after the game.

 Blocking for paul.

Running a fake.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next 3 pictures are of me returning a kickoff. They are in order, so you can kinda tell what happens.
Picture #1: Why they give me the ball, I don't quite know.
Picture #2: Brandon blocking for me.
Picture #3: About to get tackled by 37
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This next set of pictures is me running over 2 guys on another kickoff return. I is very happy seeing these pictures. :)

Pic #1: Ben gets hit once...on 35 yd line.

Pic #2: Ben gets hit twice... on 40 yd line.

Pic #3: Ben knocks em on their backs... on 42 yd line.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Next Set: Catch and run
Pic #1: I catch the ball here.
Pic #2: Helmet to Helmet collision with #22. I ran him over
Pic #3: I make friends with their entire team...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Gotta love the short white kids... about 6 inches short of catching it...

Casey and I: An emotional night for the seniors.

 Today I leave for my last football game ever, and one last weekend with my brothers.

Wish me luck.

Just two pictures. Of senior night and senior tackle.

Great hair day eh?

Senior Tackle

Saturday, October 21, 2006

Well last night was my last home game, senior night, and the second to last football game I'll ever play. The game didn't go as well as I hoped, but I played hard and did my best. Our team is now 6-3, after the loss to Linsly, 54-33.

A few pictures are below.

Lining up for the national anthem. (Look at my nice clean uniform...pwetty spiffy.)

Kickoff runback early in. (I'm mostly just standing around here.)

getting blocked. (eh fudge... pick on the short white guy...i see how it is)

wo

 Loook at the fat kid run. (Must smell cake or somtin)

woohoo. I can catch too (with divine intervention)

Wish i was black like that. (I could use some hops here.)

Returnin'a kickoff. (My eyes are really that red when i'm in a bad mood)

Ooo...who was the idiot who gave me the ball?

Sweat in my eyes.

Getin' set for a nice lil' jog.

Watching somebody get mobbed... (I'm a lazy son of a donkey)

Shoulder to the crotch. (Totally not cool)

One last night with my brothers in our home.
