| Hey, haven't updated in awhile. Not like anything drastic has changed anyway. Still goin' to school (well when we aren't on break), still flying, still breathing...the essentials basically. Unfortunately I have to take the AFOQT...technically today...I hope I do well. Its basically like the ACT/SAT, but I really haven't done any complicated math for three years. That should be the best part in my opinion, haha. Oh well, if I do well, I could land a pilot slot perhaps, and that would be wicked awesome. haha.
Besides that, I'm looking forward to January...UC meets Toronto, Canada.
| Not much happened today...same 'ol same 'ol. A Little bit of this, waking up late, eating breakfast...flying a plane. I enjoyed waking up late...that was wonderful, and the morning cheerios were "O" so great. Not to crunchy, not too soggy. Could have used a bit of sugar I suppose, but hey, what can ya do? I guess I could have flown to the store. But I was lazy. Instead I felt like flying around Kings Island, highways, rivers. You know, routine stuff. Couldn't find a store with plane parking. But shoot, I really could have used some sugar. So, um here's some pictures of cheerios...and my "Bird"
Who's he? I bet he's awesome.
Actually it was pretty awesome...I enjoyed it. Plus, the pilot said I was exceptionally good.
| Well this morning was the first PFD (Physical Fitness Diagnostic Test), and I might say that it did not go so bad. There are definately some areas of improvement needed but not much. For instance, I just need to be able to pump out 3 more push-ups. 3 MORE!! Thats what agrivated me the most...so close, but so far. As for the rest...well I cannot complain; the proper amount of what i call crunch-ups ( a weird blend of crunches and sit-ups...I'll let you do the math on how I came up with the term) and a 1.5 miles in just over 10 minutes. I suppose I'm ready for the real deal. Bring on the PFT. Here's to life! | | |
| Wow, has it been a long time. I guess I can blame that on my very busy schedule, and my lack of actual caring. Good reasons I guess.
I joined the UC Marching Band this year, and its been great. The musical talent within the group supersedes that of any others I have ever been in. Of course, they work much harder than any I have been a part of. But it is well worth it. Plus we get to travel, how cool is that. My first trip ever...to a nearby place (in comparison to others it could have been) was to OSU. What an impression that was. My first away game in front of 110,037 people. That was insane.
Other than that, I guess you can say that I've been less busy. School has finally started, and that was a somewhat pleasant change to the long break. I hate the work and all, but was excited to get back, meet new people and experience the college life. So far, I love a good majority of my classes. Well, with the exception of Comparative Politics and Moral and Political Ideas...if it were up to me, I would not take them.
But in all the classes that run from 0630 (PT...ugh) to 9:00 PM, there are some winners. For instance, Orchestra and Rappeling. Yes, Rappeling. But I can't wait til the weekend comes, because I get to go home this weekend (Friday anyway) to perform with all my friends again. Well, I better get goin'.
| Apparantly my entire life has been a waste. I'm lazy and irresponsible. I don't know whats right for me, and don't openly show fear. My apologies. I guess its now a problem to not show weakness. I've never truly considered this before. Of course it has crossed my mind, but I've never thought about following through...I feel like leaveing. Packing up, and never looking back.
On a note that makes me smile, I have the greatest friends in the world. Who else would show up at your house with two lawn mowers to help you out. Even though, I turned them down (since I could do it much faster). But regardless, I was honored and touched that they did it.
