Currently Watching
Vanity Fair (Widescreen Edition)
see related

Last night I ended up going to the gym, and then realizing they close early on Friday nights , so i only got to run for about 20 minutes.  I swung by Blockbuster on the way home and rented Vanity Fair, which I don't recommend.  I was awoken about 2 o clock by a key in my front door...it was Mark coming to stay the night with me after his guys night out.

This morning we woke up and took the dog outside to play and then drove to his house to lay out by the pool..it is sooo hot already, I can only imagine how scorching it's going to be in a month.  Then we decided to run down the road beside his house a few times....yeah, I'm definetly not in good enough shape to keep up with him, but the kind boyfriend he is stayed with me so we could talk.

As we opened his gate, Mike pulled up behind us and we went inside and hung out for a little while.  They left to go look at Mike's new townhouse he and Emily just bought and I came home to do some laundry.  I can't believe it's only 3 weeks until the Mike and Emily's wedding, it's going to be an event to remember!

Well I'm trying to register for facebook but there seems to be some sort of problem with the system so I'll keep trying.

For now I'm going to go finish watching my movie and then tonight me and Mark are going to Tampa, first to eat at Wing House and then to Marvin's house to watch the big boxing championship on pay per view.  It should be fun because all his friends are down from NYC and they know how to get the party started...lol.  Well tomorrow morning we'll probably go to church and then hang out...I'll try to keep up on the updates if I can.

Wow .... 4 months since I've updated.  Obviously a lot has happened since then so I'll just leave those 4 months to your curiosity...and begin with today.

Let me tell ya, im so happy that summer is here and that I don't have but one summer class which I'll be taking with my baby, Mark.  Calculus is gonna be a killer though.  Also I have begun working days at the restaurant so that my nights are free to do whatever, which is soo nice.  I can actually get things done that I need to do.

Today was the most amazing, most boring day I've had in a very very long while.  I woke up at 6:30 to walk my new yorkie puppy, Rocky and then made Mark a lunch to take to work with him.....yeah boring so far....then I cleaned up my apartment and organized the millions of cat and dog toys littering my apartment.  Most of you probably don't know that I just bought a new puppy.  He is sooo adorable, there are pictures of him on my profile.  He's a toy yorkshire terrier who is only 2 months old and weighs in at a whopping 2.5 pounds.  Knowing me, I've already bought him rhinestone collars, bows, doggie beds, an array of treats and every chew toy known to man..he's already very spoiled just like his Mommy ;-p.  I love carrying him around in his purse but I don't think people in the grocery store enjoy it too much as he's barking down the aisles.  Anyways I haven't yet picked out the perfect purse for him yet....I was thinking Louis Vuitton ALA Daisy but I hear they don't get much circulation of air through the leather.  So the search is still on and he is now in a temporary carrier.  The potty training isn't progressing too well...partly because he is a baby and because I spoil him and haven't exactly followed all of the crate training rules.  Hopefully he will catch on soon or my carpet will be paying a price.

After I cleaned up I headed to the bank to deposit some money....then to the grocery store to pick up some fruits and veggies so that I can start my new weight loss program.  Does anyone hate tipping the guy who brings ur groceries out? I do, not because I'm cheap, but because I never ever have one dollar bills on me and have to end up giving them a five, which does kinda irk me.

I headed to the gym but I wasn't feeling too good so I decided to come home and take a nap....it ended up being a 3 hour nap and I awoke only to the sounds of Rocky wimpering.  I woke up and made a delicious salad and wheat pasta with vodka sauce, sorta healthy right?

Well for the past hour I've been watching rerun marathons of Laguna Beach....I'll probably go rent a movie later and maybe I will get some friends together and go out to Tias to party, but for now, relaxing is the name of my game....finally!!!

Sorry it has been so long since I've written...I won't update on things from 2 weeks ago but I'll try to let you know what's been going on...

I started classes at Florida Southern last week, I am taking Microeconomics,Algebra,Western Civ.,Effective Writing, and Biology plus a lab.  It's a pretty large course load so I will have to study a lot this term.

So far I like the college better than I liked UCF, it's smaller and more personable, plus the people are a lot friendlier.  I've made some new friends and I also have classes with some of my old ones.

Friday night me, Mark, McAvoy,Anna, and Patterson went to Ybor and ate at Big City Tavern and then went to IMPROV comedy club afterwards.  Saturday SaLynn and I went to Sharky's with Bo and Aussie and a few other people to play darts.  Sunday was pretty much a lazy day but Mo came over because I cooked dinner.

Everyone but me had to go to class on Monday (Martin Luther King Jr. Day), that's one thing that sucks about private school.

I got a white coach purse, Ralph Lauren sunglasses, white gold earrings and an IRH riding helmet as early birthday presents, don't ask why my mom does things this way.

Speaking of riding, I went to Wall Street Farms in Fish Hawk yesterday for a lesson with Steve.  I rode a bay named Abe, he was really sweet.  Funny story...I set my car keys on a bench while I was riding, when I went to leave they were missing...so I began thinking I may have locked them in my car.  For 2 hours I searched for the keys, so embarrassed(great 1st impression right? the dumb blonde lost her keys)...so anyways then Steve walks up holding my keys and says his chiuahuas had taken them and buring them in their hiding spot, I was sooooo pissed at those damn puppies, lol.

Anyways I've basically just been going to class all week and debating whether or not I want to sign up for recruitment for a sorority.  I'm not sure if it would take up too much of my time or not, so we'll see.

So my 19th birthday is coming up soon, the 31st.  Anyone got any ideas for a party or something of the sort?  I know my birthday night like 20 people are going to Grille 29 in Channelside for dinner with me but that is more family oriented.

I've been working really hard lately at being consistent with working out at the gym, I really love going to the Athletic club, it's fun there.  The one bad thing is I still eat too much and too much junk food.  I will still have to work on that habit.

Im getting extra annoyed that I can't find a job that I really want to do...I wish I could find something perfect for me but it's not working out.

Well I promise to keep this site updated now, I have to go do some laundry and do the dishes, ttyl.

Hope everyone's christmas went well!

Christmas eve i went to the rothman's house because they were having a party, and I opened my gifts from them and from Mark.  I got a Tivo, newlyweds season one, lots of gift cards, champagne, a shirt, jewelry and a purse.  Then I went home later so that santa clause could come to my house :p

Christmas morning I didn't wake up until 10 and I came downstairs and opened my presents.  Let's see, I got an Ipod, a Kate Spade carrying case for the ipod, a juicy couture purse, an UGG purse to match my boots, diamond earrings, Victoria Secret stuff and a gift card, a Busch Gardens year pass and a few other things.

Well I have to go now but I'll update more later.  All my family from up North is down and we're going out to eat at Shelby's...yumm, cya!

"Somewhere...somewhere in time's own space
There must be some sweet pastured place
Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow
Some Paradise where horses go.
For by the love that guides my pen
I know great horses live again."

Your Time

Your eyes showed me just how much pain you were in,
The light that was there was beginning to dim,
The love that you gave was there till the end,
So your life, your soul, to heaven I send,

Goodbye my angel, think of me when,
You gallop and run so free again,
no pain in your body, just love in your heart,
It won't be forever, that we are apart

Empty Days

Just going through the motions, surviving day by day,
Nothing holds much meaning now he has gone away.
Confusion, anger, sorrow, are just some things you feel
The hands of time are ticking, and they tell you time will heal.

You wonder why this had to be, why fate was so unkind,
Was there anything you could have done, but nothing springs to mind.
Was it really only yesterday you had to let him go?
It seems a million years ago, and how you miss him so.

You can't look in the stable, it's cold and empty now.
The pails and rugs all neatly stacked look out of place somehow.
You expect to hear him whinny as you walk towards his door.
You long to see his handsome face, but you can't any more.

You know you gave him all the love that you had there to give.
Knew that he could never have a better place to live.
That doesn't mend your breaking heart, or stem the tears that flow.
But some day it will help you, I've been there, and I know.
