Wow!!  So now I have a new addition to the fam.  I have adopted a stray and he is cute.  Snickers,my new puppy, is 4 monthes old.  He is adorable and bad.  He is part german sheperd.

So I am also learning to drive a school bus.  I have to take the driving part of the test soon and I am quite nervous.

Time is running out.  My trip is in less than 2 monthes.  I still have to raise about 1800 dollars for tickets and local housing.  I need it asap!!  So pray!

The summer is slowly creeping by.  Soon I will be back at school with my darling children. 

I am raising money for my trip to Africa.  The first 500 is due this week for our plane tickets.  I will need the remaining amount by the middle of september. 

The plane trip will have several layovers. One in Atlanta, one in DC, and one in Paris.  We will be in Paris for 8 hours, so we are hoping to do a little sight seeing.  Maybe.  From Paris we will fly directly into Lome', Togo.  We plan to stay for 14 days and then fly back to the US. 

We will be doing some street evangelism.  A few other possiblities  are a women's conference and a children's crusade.

School is out for the summer.  I have plans to take a few short trips.  But I also have a summer job.   I am working with a lady who does estate sales.  I am having a lot of fun.

A person might want to do an estate sale if they are moving or if a loved has died and left a house.  The family will go through the house and take out only what they want.  They leave everything else where it is.  We go through openning up drawers, cabinets, closets, attics, etc and take out everything.  If it has value we keep it and categorize it.  If it is trash, we toss it.  Then we set up the house with tables and lay out everything.  Kitchen stuff stays in the kitchen. Bathroom stuff in the bathroom.  You get the picture.  We price everything and sell it.  Even the furniture, shelves, tables, chairs, beds.  Everything has to go!!!

It usually takes about 3 weeks to get a house ready for a sale, then everything is gone in 1 day.  But it is sooooooo much fun!!  We find antiques.  We find collectibles.  We find things that we are not sure what they are.  We find things that we wish we would not have found. Procedes go the owner of the house, and we take a percentage of the profits.

Myself and 3 others young ladies are going with our pastor's wife and another pastor's wife (from England) to Togo, Afrcia.  Togo is located along the Atlantic coast of Africa. It is a very small country.  We will be holding a women's conference.  We may visit a school and an orphanage.

This will be my first trip to Togo, however, our pastor's wife has been several times.  We will be there for about two weeks.  We will fly into England to meet the other pastor's wife, then fly to Lome which is the largest city and capital of Togo.
