| MousiesToday I was tagging some mice that lost their tags (earing w/ number on them) and one mouse that I have been checking multiple times/day had her pups! I know this kind of thing happens every week (we have a colony of ~75) or so and I didn't even see the birth, but I know it happened when I was just a few feet away and that somehow makes it special. The babies are super cute - I always forget how bitty they are (about the size of my thumbnail, pink, no hair). It made my day :)
Oh, and I got a photo on my phone of "Punkie" - she is brown but has a puff of white hair like a mohawk on her head! Not sure if that is indicative of some general abnormality...I can't seem to get her impregnated by any of the male mice. :( She would have cute kids!
