My bestest friend is in Argentina. I am worried about his safety as he spends all his time there getting drunk and doing drugs. He sent me this email:

we were on our way to a club and the pic on drivers ID was not the same person as the driver, the driver couldnt speak spanish and didnt know where the club was. i told him to pull over so my friend can throw up. we all got out and i told them to run away. then i gave the guy 2 pesos and said thanks. i told him that the pic wasnt him and he reached into his glove box and pulled out a gun. i ran and he drove off and abused me. all thats all i guess. bye bye

wow, that would definitely be cause for worry. maybe e-mail your friend and ask if there is a number where they can be reached and giva a call to find out how they are doing. Maybe you could try suggesting sights for your friend to see as opposed to him/her spending all their time on drugs...If they are a good friend of yours it worth a try to get the message that you are worried accross to them. Good luck with that...I hope things go alright.
