On The Eucharist in Its Relationship To The Church

So break has been mixed so far.  I had to drive home alone on friday nite, but it wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be. I stopped by Lori and Eric's on the way home for dinner and to see Dylan. He is getting big. Anyway, on saturday we all went over to toledo to celebrate CJ's first birthday.  It was definately good times.  He is very fun to play with. I can't wait until Dylan is older and then I can play with both of them at once. Then on Sunday nite I went carolling with Youth Group.  When I walked in, everyone like swarmed over to me. It was really good to see the adults and the high schoolers.  There were a couple of other college kids there, so it was very good to see them, too.  Afterwards, they had a small group of people stay after for a Bible study and that was definately fun and a lot different from LIFE groups.  I kinda miss leading those Bible studies, but LIFE groups can be fun, too.
On monday morning, my parents and I got up early and headed back to toledo to see the neurologist about my back.  He couldn't tell much from the CAT scan I had done over midterm break, but just from examining me he could pretty much tell what it was.  I have narrowing in my spinal cord, so I am most likely going to have to have surgery over the summer, which sucks, but at least it will make it better. Then, I found something else out last nite that makes me sad, but I can't talk about it. Well, that is about all I have for now.  I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas. Pax.

ok so i know that i never update anymore. ive just been really busy this year with school, peer ministry stuff, and they have me playing guitar at Marycrest Mass now, which is pretty gangster. christie and i are going to be starting up a summer youth ministry program back home this summer. i definately cannot wait for that.
anywho, halloween was pretty sweet. i had the best costume ever. Craig dressed up as the Pope and Adam and I were Catholic Cardinals.  I was Avery Cardinal Dulles.  It was fricken tuggets.  we all totally thought that the costumes would be a disaster, but they actually looked real.  when i walked over to their house so that we could get my costume together, i saw adam's and got all excited. we processed through the Ghetto which was a fun time and everyone wanted pictures with us at the dry party, so we would pretend like we were blessing them. i loved halloween this year. i really want to do the Cardinal thing again next year because it was like the best costume ever.  i need to get pictures from ppl though, bc i currently have none. so ya, thats all i got. peace.

Love Alone Is Credible

so ive decided that Introduction to Christianity by Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger (Papa B16) is one of the most gangster books ever written.  It is definately now my favorite book.  Anywho, I haven't updated in forever. Classes are going well. I've been really busy with Catholic Life and Peer Ministry stuff and all of that. I've also been trying to work out regularly and Adam and I are reading Called to Communion (also by Papa B16) together.  It is definately going to be one busy year.
It is HCing this week in Huron.  It is the first time I will miss the HCing game since my family moved there.  My heart will definately be in Huron Memorial Stadium this friday.  I spose that I could go home, but my parents are going out of town and there is an IHOP this saturday, but midterm break is in 2 weeks, so that will be good. it will be my first time home this year. i will have to stop by taco bell and say hi to all my peeps (if they are all even still working there). anyway, i need to go fold some laundry. peace.

oh and one thing i forgot to add with my last post is that my dad found a really good job in avon lake. so, pretty much what that means, is that my family is no longer moving and will be staying in Huron. we are keeping our house on the market for two more weeks though, because my parents were planning on moving into a smaller house within the next couple of years anyways. another really good thing is that my dad doesnt have to live in a hotel away from home during the week anymore and my mom doesnt have to be at home alone during the week. anywho, im really happy about all of that.
