All of this has changed so much!

I, once again, haven't been on XANGA in SUCH A LONG TIME!  I guess time is flying by, and I just don't think of it that much anymore. 

There are several new things going on with me, for those of you interested enough to read this. 

Yesterday I went to visit a satellite campus of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary that is in Albany, GA.  I am seriously considering starting there in August, if my Pastor/Church will support and agree with my decision.  It will require me to drive to Albany every monday to Sherwood Baptist Church, (The church that made Facing the Giants) and take classes all day, and then drive 3 hours back!  Whew... it is a long haul, but I know a guy that I can ride with, atleast for the next 2 years, until he graduates.  I will also have to go to Atlanta, and New Orleans for some week long classes occasionally.  I'm really hoping it will work out.  I really enjoying meeting the guys who are currently taking classes yesterday.  In fact I know some of them from High School, and College! 

Also, Megan and I, after being married for 10 months are getting ready to buy our first house!  I'm pretty excited about it.  We are getting a REALLY Good deal on it, and it has a Pool!  It is a very exciting time for us right now!  So we are getting excited about having a place to call our own pretty soon!

Church is going well.  I have also been there for almost 10 months now.  I can't believe time is flying by so fast.  I just had the opportunity to do my first Baptism on Easter Sunday!  It was such a neat experience! 

Megan and I are just trying to keep our eyes on Jesus, trying to follow his guidance for our lives and bring Glory to him in everything that we do!

Wow... uhh, is this thing on?  :::tap tap::: [screech of feedback].  Huh.. I guess so.  I kinda forgot about this ol Xanga deal. 

Life is going pretty well.  I'm now working as the Full Time Associate Pastor of Youth/Children at the FBC of Swainsboro.  Pretty exciting stuff.  I have a pretty incredible group of youth! 

Megan and I have been Married now for alittle over 5 months!  It is pretty crazy how fast things seem to be going now.  We are about to celebrate our first Christmas together as a Married couple.  That should be pretty fun.  I'm looking forward to this myth I hear about a "christmas bonus."  The last time I heard the word bonus having to do with my Salary, it ended up being like 10 more bucks a month, which in turn put me into a new tax bracket, so I was actually bringing home less that I was before.... so we will just see about this bonus deal.

I've been thinking about Erin some lately.  She died in 2002, so I guess this will be the 4th Christmas that my family has spent without her.  It is pretty strange to think about.  It's hard imagining the times when she was actually with us again.  It almost seems as if she was just a part of an on going dream that I had as a child, and now I woke up, and the reality is, that she really isn't there...  Sorry, i know that probably doesn't make sense to some of you, but maybe some of you who have lost someone, before you know, they were "supposed to die" chronologically, may understand.  I'm not crazy, I promise.

I found out that I'm really bad about being organized, and neat.  I need to work on that... really bad. 

Man, I'm ready for Christmas break... I'm kinda ready to veg for another couple of days, like I got to do over Thanksgiving... that was Great!  

Anyway, i guess I have done enough damage today... Maybe I'll re visit again sometime soon...  Who knows
