MORE DECEPTION BY THE MAINSTREAM SCIENCE COMMUNITY ON AN UNINFORMED PUBLIC!!!This piece of
crap story makes so many assumptions inherent to evolution theory that
they are too numerous to list. Basically they found the
skeleton of an APE (australopithicus aferensis, the species this
skeleton and "Lucy" is labeled as is regarded by many paleontologists
as simply an ape and not an "ancestor" of modern man), and are
DECIEVING the uninformed by calling it the skeleton of a "three year
old girl"!!!!
This is the
kind of dishonest
CRAP that keeps people believing in evolution. These people are
supposed to be the "experts" and are teaching their deceptive beliefs
and ideas to innocent children who believe whatever they read in their
textbooks as being science "fact", when NOTHING could be further from
the truth! All we are seeing here is WHAT THEY BELIEVE about the
skeleton they found in the dirt-which the dated, BTW, by what rock
layer it came from according to their preconcived belief that the rock
layers is 3 billion years old. (In case you didn't know they date the
rock layers
by what fossils come out of it-and they date the fossils by what rock
layer they come from. That's "science"???)
Remains of earliest child discovered in Ethiopia
By Patricia Reaney Wed Sep 20, 3:16 PM ET
LONDON (Reuters)
- A 3.3 million-year-old skeleton of the earliest child ever found shows the
ancient ancestor of modern humans walked upright but may also have climbed
They found the well-preserved remains of a three-year-old girl of the
species Australopithecus afarensis -- which includes the fossil skeleton known
as "Lucy" -- in the Dikika area of Ethiopia,
400 kms northeast of the capital Addis Ababa.
"It represents the earliest and most complete partial skeleton of a
child ever found in the history of paeleoanthropology," said Dr Zeresenay
Alemseged, of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig,
Germany. HORSEHOCKEY! The found a SKELETON. Calling it a "child" is baloney...unless they consider little monkeys children.
The skull, torso and upper and lower limbs, including the hand, show both
human and ape-like features. The state of the ancient bones suggest she was
buried in a flood which may also have caused her death. (Now this is interesting. The bones were "buried in a flood"...)
The remains provide the first evidence of what babies of early human
ancestors looked like. The nearly complete skeleton will also provide
information about the child's height and structure.
"This child will help us understand a lot about the species to which it
belongs," said Alemseged, leader of the international team of scientists
who reported the findings in the journal Nature. (Notice how over and over again they are calling the skeleton a "child". Anyone else see how deceptive this is?)
"The lower part of the body, which includes the foot, the shin bone and
the thigh bone clearly shows us that this species was an upright walking
creature," he told Reuters. (Not according to MANY of your collegues there slick. Stop making things up)
But some of the features from the upper part of the body, including the
shoulder blade and arms are more ape-like. The fingers are long and curved
which suggest she might have been able to swing through trees.
"The finding is the most complete hominid skeleton ever found in the
world," Zeresenay Alemseged, who is head of the Paleoanthropological
Research Team, told a news conference in Addis Ababa.
He said the fossil was older than the 3.2-million-year-old remains of
"Lucy" discovered in 1974 and described by scientists as one of the
world's greatest archaeological finds.
"The new bones belong to a three-year-old girl who lived 3.3 million
years ago, 150,000 years before Lucy," Zeresenay said. (And he knows this how?? IT'S THE SKELETON OF A MONKEY DUMMY!!)
The fossil has been named "Selam," which means peace in Ethiopia's
official Amharic language.
JUVENILE "LUCY"
Dr Simon Underdown of Oxford Brookes University in England
described it as a massively exciting discovery of a juvenile "Lucy."
"This tremendous fossil will make us challenge many of the ideas we have
about how and why we came to walk on two feet," he said.
An analysis of the sediment in which the remains were found enabled
researchers to build a picture of the type of environment in which the child
lived. (Again, "child")
It was a lush area with flowing water, forests and grassland which was also
affected by volcanic eruptions. The range of habitats was suitable for hippos,
crocodiles and relatives of the wildebeest.
"We can see from the sediment that the region was very much
characterized by a mosaic of environment that ranged from forests and woodlands
near the rivers, to seasonally flooded grasslands to a flood plain that would
have supported more open vegetation," said Dr Jonathan Wynn of the University
of South Florida who dated the
sediments surrounding the remains.
Here are some quotes from
NON-CREATIONIST scientists about "Lucy" and the other
australopithicenes as being "ancestors" of humans...
Australopithecus
SECOND "APE MAN" OUT,
ROGER LEWIN, Ed., Research News, Science, Richard and his parents, Louis and
Mary, have held to a view of human origins for nearly half a century now that
the line of true man, the line of Homo large brain, tool making and so on has a
separate ancestry that goes back millions and millions of years. And the apeman,
Australopithecus, has nothing to do with human ancestry." BONES OF CONTENTION,
1987, p.18
LEAKEY DEFECTION, "Dr.
Leakey bases his repudiation of Darwin on the results of his long search in East
Africa for the remains of the original man. The generally accepted post Darwin
view is that man developed from the baboon 3 to 5 million years ago. But Leakey
has found no evidence of a spurt in development at that time.", Chicago
American, 1/25, 1967
DISMISSED APE, LORD
SOLLY ZUCKERMAN, "His Lordship's scorn for the level of competence he sees
displayed by paleoanthropologists is legendary, exceeded only by the force of
his dismissal of the australopithecines as having anything at all to do with
human evolution. 'They are just bloody apes', he is reputed to have observed on
examining the australopithecine remains in South Africa.. Zuckerman had become
extremely powerful in British science, being an adviser to the government up to
the highest level...,while at Oxford and then Birmingham universities, he had
vigorously pursued a metrical and statistical approach to studying the anatomy
of fossil hominids....it was on this basis that he underpinned his lifelong
rejection of the australopithecines as human ancestors.", Roger Lewin, BONES OF
CONTENTION, 1987, p.164, 165
DEFINITELY AN APE, LORD
SOLLY ZUCKERMAN, "The australopithecine skull is in fact so overwhelmingly
simian as opposed to human (figure 5) that the contrary proposition could be
equated to an assertion that black is white.", BEYOND THE IVORY TOWER,

UNHUMAN, LIKE THE
ORANGUTAN, CHARLES E. OXNARD, Dean of Graduate School, Prof. of Biology &
Anatomy, USC, "....conventional wisdom is that the australopithecine fragments
are generally rather similar to humans....the new studies point to different
conclusions. The new investigations suggest that the fossil fragments are
usually uniquely different from any living form: when they do have similarities
with living species, they are as often as not reminiscent of the orangutan,
...these results imply that the various australopithecines are really not all
that much like humans. ....may well have been bipeds, .... but if so, it was not
in the human manner. They may also have been quite capable climbers as much at
home in the trees as on the ground..", The American Biology Teacher, Vol.41, May
1979, pp.273-4
LIKE PYGMY CHIMP,
ADRIENNE L ZIHLMAN, U. C. Santa Cruz, "Zihlman compares the pygmy chimpanzee to
"Lucy," one of the oldest hominid fossils known and finds the similarities
striking. They are almost identical in body size, in stature; and in brain
size.... These commonalties, Zihlman argues indicate that pygmy chimps use their
limbs in much the same way Lucy did....", Science News, Vol.123, Feb.5. 1983,

AUSTRALOPITHECINES,
William Howells, Harvard, "...the pelvis was by no means modern, nor were the
feet: the toes were more curved than ours; the heel bones lacked our stabilizing
tubercles; and a couple of small ligaments that, in us, tighten the arch from
underneath, were apparently not present. The finger bones were curved as they
are in tree climbing apes." GETTING HERE, 1993, p.79

australopithecines are rapidly shrinking back to the status of peculiarly
specialized apes...", American Scientist, (JulyAugust 1986)
