So I've decided to UPDATE! Hurray!!!!!
There's a lot of other things I should be doing right now but Oh well.
So this summer was FUNNNN but went by way to fast like always. I went to Acapulco with Rebekah June 20th and we were there for a week. We came home early for a lot of reasons but it was def. a learning experience and I'm really really glad we went. Here's a few pics...
The beautiful beach/ocean that we never got to swim in. Sad I know.

The precious precious missionaries we lived with... Jim and his wife Honey. He is 77 and still serving the Lord as a missionary! AMAZING!

Me with the cutest kids ever...

Rebekah and I at the Seminary where Jim was a professor

Well, I got sick... we didn't have anything to do bc Jim and Honey had to go out of town and they basically left us with a babysitter for 1 week. So we decided it would be better if we came home and recooperated before heading off to Ecuador. Rebekah went to her grandparents lake house and I went with my family to Washington DC for the Fourth of July. It was a Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association Reunion so my dad wanted to go. It was very fun and we got to walk in the parade in DC for the 4th! Sooo cool!
Here we are in the back of a Medivac helicopter... I dono if that's the name of it.

My fam walkin in the parade!

We ate dinner under a space shuttle!!! Way cool...

Mom and I at the Vietnam Wall

Me ... yep.

So anyways--- I missed my boyfriend a lot the whole time we were in DC but what's new. I got to see him for a day or so before we left again to go to Ecuador. SOOOO anyways... Ecuador. Oh man. Honestly I didn't want to go to Ecuador. I was nervous that I'd get sick like I did in Mexico, I didn't want to sacrifice any of my time, I was being selfish. I just wanted to stay home, be with Daniel and be lazy. Way to go Court --- way to be like Jesus right? Anyways. God showed me so much in Ecuador. Not only were we living with AMAZING missionaries... but we met some of the most precious people thru The King family whom I will never ever forget! There are so many Christians we met who were so sweet and kind to Rebekah and I -- and even though we barely spoke each others language they loved us with the love of Jesus! I feel like I saw a perfect picture of how we as Christians should love our brothers and sisters in Christ. They supported and encouraged one another... they PRAYED like i've never prayed before. They're FAMILY and they love eachother in Christ! It was so cool. To live with Steve and Paula (the missionaries) and their daughter Rubi was such a priviledge. I was comforted to talk to Paula about how initially she was so scared about being a missionary and she said she even told her husband Steve that she didn't want to do it. She didn't want to leave the comforts of the USA to go somewhere foreign... which is somthing I've dealt with a little. We also talked to this one lady who was sooo cute. Her name was Claudia and she was American. She and her husband opened up a camp in the Jungle of Ecuador and they were living there. Rebekah and I asked her if the transition from the US to the mission field was hard and she said "Yes to be completely honest it's been hard. I was spoiled rotten in the states. I had everything I wanted and more. And it's been hard getting used to living in the jungle where we dont have the every day things like a washer and dryer or a walmart." Rebekah and I were talking about it later and we got a little teary because we know that'd be us if we were in her situation. But somthing Claudia also said was that when you're in the center of God's will, when you've said Yes to His call... wherever He sends you is a little slice of heaven on earth. So yes she's living in the jungle with TONS of mosquito's and who knows what. But she's satisfied and she's glorifying the Lord with her life and He's giving her what she needs... So that's encouraging too. Anyways--- i've blabbed on and on. I wanna show you some pics but sadly I left them in Ecuador. Steve and Paula are mailing my CD to me so I'll add some ASAP! I love you all and I hope yalls summers were as amazing as mine.
To end such a great summer I'm going to Indiana to see my family!!! All the cousins and Aunts and Uncles will be there so I'm very excited. The best part about it is Daniel is coming with us!!! Hurrayyyy! Haha... I'll get to see him 5 days in a row! That's gotta be a record. :)
