Look how far we've come...

And we have so much farther left to go...

So there's a situation. The situation is that my parents are probably moving to St. Louis (Missouri)- soon! Like, before the end of the quarter soon. There's a church out there (1st Baptist of Bethalto, I think) that is seriously candidating my dad for the position of senior pastor. They're flying him out the first weekend of May and then flying both him and my mom out the next week after that. The church is supposed to vote on the 24th of May.

This leaves me in quite a pickle. Let me begin by saying that I'm happy for my dad and the family needs this job and the church sounds wonderful. I'm in every way in favor of it. However, the problem remains that it is half-way across the country. This presents me with the situation of not having a home. So I don't know what I'll do for breaks and stuff because they'll never have the money to fly me out and I don't have a car and finding a ride all the way to Missouri is highly unlikely.

So please pray for me and my family. Pray for wisdom for the church and safety for my parents as they're traveling and something for me. I'm not sure what I'm asking for for myself, but God knows just what I need. I'm confident He'll show me in His good time. I just need to hang on till then.

Hey All,

Would you please pray for our Pastour -Larry Thomas- and his family.  Last night on the way to Awana his grandaughter was in a car hit by a drunk driver.  She flew out of the car and they life flighted her to CMC.  She didn't make it.  The drunk driver was a hit and run.  Please pray for the family as this will be a difficult time for them.  Also for our entire church family as there has been a lot of difficulties especially with many good friends dying recently.  Thanks.

Hey Everyone. We have a proposition for y'all. Several of us were taking a walk yesterday and were wondering what you'd think about this:

Look like a good deal to y'all? I mean...about $20 each.....a little paint job, and we could fit everyone in one vehicle? Who's in?

Hey guys. It's Caleb. I am updating my site again so come check it out. I just have to say that God is extremely good, and today thus is a wonderful day. Praise the Lord! I want to challenge all of you when you read this to just take some time during your day and just be still. Be still before God; think only of Him and all His goodness. Trust me it makes the rest of your day as awesome as it could ever be. Besides all else but God is a chaseing after the wind anyway. (  Ecclesiastes  ).

By the way I have a second Xanga site now it is called Americanism. All I do with that one is talk about America, but I think you all can enjoy it anyway.

May the Lord richly bless all you pieces.

In Christ,

Caleb
