| Oh how I love the days when I go to the mall with my mother and she decides to go on a clothing shopping spree for me! Yeah...it was quite exciting. I bought two pairs of shorts, two shirts, and a green and pink belt. Beforehand we ate a gross breakfast at the Manchester Expressway Waffle House because my mom just "had" to have breakfast and it was already after 11 so barely anywhere else would be serving. Afterwards, I came home, put some clothes in the wash and did two things. First, I played the paino, and then I read some of 1984 which is very depressing.
Last night was great fun. After a late lunch with Curtis McCloud discussing plans for CHS's first annual Battle of the Bands, I went to get my haircut at "Cuts by Carey" (AKA The Bray's House). I ended up staying there for a while because it started to storm really bad and I didn't feel like driving in the rail...so I pulled my car inside their garage and played Sorry w/ Carey and her mother...yeah, I won. After I had gone home and been sitting around doing nothing for a while I had an inspiration. After playing an exciting game of Sorry earlier, why not play a great game of Monopoly! So I called up some buddies (Anna, Brittany, Caitlin H., Mike, and Paul) and asked them to meet at Barnes and Noble around 9. Anna, Caitlin H., and Mike showed up...wow...I never knew how much fun that would be. Everyone had a blast and we decided we definately had to do it more often.
So tomorrow is the SAT...my first time taking it...I'm kinda excited though, I'm sure I'll do fine!

| It's funny...the past two days I've waken up before my alarm has gone off...well before my alarm has gone off. I guess I have gotten so much rest that I don't need to anymore...like, like...TIME IS HOLDING ME DOWN...or, or...I'VE GOTTA TEAR UP THIS TOWN...what, what...i GOTTA CUT-LOOSE!
Enough of all that jazz (not to be cliche or anything). Yeah, don't get me wrong, summer is great...but I get kinda bored siting around the house sometimes...I actually want to get a job. I mean, heck I've already finished one of my summer reading books...I did it in 4 days...thats pretty much a world record or something.
Today after a needless visit to get my retainer checked at the orthodonist, a needless breakfast at Chick-Fil-A, and a needless journey to look for a store that is hiring, I went home to enjoy a nice, peaceful afternoon. I spent the whole day preparing for tonight's worship service (which I lead every Wednesday night at my church). I was inspired to play all old school hymns after last nights TA Bible Study and Nic Cash's generous giving of sheet music. It was something I had wanted to do for a long time, but I had never has the courage to do it. I picked out all time songs I felt like I needed to play, and then I produced the powerpoint slides and the got to the run-through. It took 31 minutes to go through the entire playlist...that is about 11 minutes longer than I have ever lead worship...but I knew it needed to be done. It went perfect...it truely couldn't have been better...and the awesome thing was...the crowd REALLY was into it...they REALLY longed to worship. It was beautiful...the playlist consisted of the following order of songs: "I'll Fly Away," "How Great Thou Art," "Holy, Holy, Holy," "I Surrender All," "The Wonderful Cross / Nothing But The Blood," "Because He Lives," and "Victory In Jesus."
Oh how I cannot wait to leave Monday for the beach...Souled Out 2005! I am very excited...hopefully I will finish 1984 before I leave...yes, I am reading two books at once...one during the day, and one at night before bed. And hopefully I will find a job! I never thought how hard it would be for a 16 boy to find a job in the city of Columbus...someone, help! Haha...it's not that bad, but I just don't wanna sit around all summer suring the day...plus, a little money for the nights would be good...and a little money for my Lambo doors on my Mustang would be nice...hopefully I can put those on when I get back from Jamiaca in July.
