Im back!  Sorry it has been months since I have written.  Lots has changed in my life.  I have moved to Oklahoma City. Working at a real cool job.  Stressful at times but what job isnt?  John and I have decided to be JUST FRIENDS.  Life is so much more simple that way. I like it.  Maybe it is my fear of committment, fear of rejection....fear of life in general.  So instead I retreat to what I know.........WORK! God has continued to bless me so richly.  I cant even begin to thank Him for all HE does for ME on a daily basis.  It has been 5 months 12 days since I passed out.  My heart is doing great!!!! PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My prayer for you all this week is to have an awesome one and to thank Him for all those blessings even when they dont always seem like blessings......it all comes together in the end.

Hello! Sorry it has been so long since I've updated.  As you will see, my daughter "fixed" my xanga background.  She's a good kid!

I have been spending more time with John.  It is very nice to have a mature, Christian, adult relationship.  We talk like we've known each other forever. It is very refreshing.  I have also been working lots of hours so not much else is happening in my life.

I know I really need to update more than once a week.  I guess when I dont update it really is a good thing.  It usually means I have a "life."  hahaha     Work is good.  Home....Well, home is home.  lol    As peaceful as it can be living with your parents when you are 30something.

This week the message God has given me is to walk softly and with an open heart and mind.  He has promised so much but I cannot see any of these promises if I am to "busy."  Being still and listening has never been easy for me. This is something I am really working on right now.

I pray that life is wonderful for all of you. I do pray for each of you every single day.  I praise God for the wonderful friendships as well as the tremendous testimonies each of you are for HIM.

Praise God and have a great week!

Love in Christ, Your Sister.......................Val

It seems like each day God shows me more and more the strength of choices.  HE gives us the wisdom to make good choices and Satan provides us with the temptation to make wrong choices.  I made a choice today.  I chose to vote for the man that I believe is God's choice. I voted for President  Bush!

Each and every day is full of choices....some very important ones and some less important ones.  God continues to lay on my heart the scripture I have posted before  "Seek ye first the kingdom of God..."      I firmly believe that as long as we as individuals, we as a body of Christ and we as a nation seek first the kindgom of God then the hate and discord and wickedness will subside.  For so many this war in Iraq is the single most important issue.  For me....it is important yes, but even more important is the battle we fight for Christ every single day.  We fight this with people not only in less fortunate countries but we continue to fight this battle with people in our own towns, in our own neighborhoods and even in our own families.

My prayer today is that we will unite as a body of Christ and do the "right thing."  This battle isnt necessarily fought with guns and artillery but with hearts and spiritual warfare.  I praise God every day for claiming me as His and continuing to show me what is necessary to walk with Him.

Praise God and I hope you will get out and vote!
