Nyah

So, I was thinking over my list of bishonen the other day, and I realized that they tend to fall into one or two general categories: robot (or looking like a robot), i.e. Wheeljack, Ironman; non-human, i.e. Arbiter, Garrus, Predator; armored, i.e. Master Chief, Iron Man, Arbiter and many others; and/or genius, Gordon Freeman and the aforementioned Wheeljack and Iron Man.  Then there's a sort of random/misc category, i.e. Pyramid Head, Big Daddy, Altair and others.  I've also discovered that armor is definitely a huge weakness for me.  I'm, quite literally, immediately attracted to any man in armor--take Master Chief, for example.  Even the freaking guards of Stormwind in WoW.  O.o  I thought maybe robots were my big weakness, but there are robots that I do and do not like.  In fact, I'm a bit picky.  Armor is definitely my weakness, and non-humans probably the second.  Probably why ones like Arbiter and Garrus, who are non-humans in armor, are high on my list.  ^.^;

Anyway, we've been doing very little as of late.  Yesterday I switched off between dozing and reading, with a slight modicum of work.  Let me put it this way: Last weekend I bought three books, and I started on the third today.  Hmm...  my battery is dying.  More later.

Oh, but real quick: if you want to send me an e-mail, use Hotmail, as it will not let me onto G-mail.  My hotmail is: sapphire_autobot@hotmail.com

This may not look like much...

\
...until you realize that it's a modded GameCube!  O.O  All I can say is... holy fucking god!  But, I still want the Metroid Wii like... hmm... I won't say what I was originally going to say.  Let's just say, I want it really, really bad.  Here it is:

:

I has teh interwebs!

Nyah, I has it!  It sort of suddenly appeared on Monday.  O.o  But, strangely, I have to be outside to access it.  Probably because our  building is made of concrete and metal.  But, very little has been happening as of late.  This base is rather strange, since it's mostly civilian workers.  There's about five
permanent party here.  >.>  But, they only work Monday through Thursday, so we had three days off when we arrived, which was nice in a way, but irritating because we could have left later.  Monday we did very, very little, mostly it was just figuring out where to put everyone.  Today was pretty slow, as well.  Needed to move some ammo, and I made the n00bs go on the forklift so they could get some practice.  I certainly didn't need it, as I did it for an entire year.

Other than that, the only thing I really have to talk about it Army of Two.  I played it at Jennifer's while I waited for 2AM to roll around.  The A.I. didn't seem as bad as I had read, though I did have two irks.  The first was my partner's aim--or lack thereof.  I don't know if was the A.I. in general, or just Rios (I played as Salem), but next time I play, I plan on playing as Rios and see how it goes.  My other irk is that the enemies WILL NOT move beyond their cover.  You can shoot a thousand bullets or wait a half an hour, and they won't move.  I suppose this is supposed to encourage team work, but what usually ends up happening, is I'll send Rios out to get shot at (for which I feel bad), so I can pick them off when they're not paying attention to me.  But gawd, that game is bad for female gamers.  Men in armor are seriously my weakness.  XD  It makes me very very happy that my nose doesn't bleed like in anime, or I'd have had a rather constant one this entire time so far.  >.>  I feel dirty just thinking some of the things I've been thinking.  ^^;

So, for anyone wanting to join Michelle or me in Diablo II, look for the games stonefish or Amenemhet before creating your own.

And since I'm feeling lazy, I'm just going to say that AC was fun, and I got to see lots of pretty arts, lots of fun fursuits, and got to buy some pretty arts.  Oh, and I had some of the most super fantastic food I've ever eaten.  If you love food like I do, definitely go to Pittsburgh.  Oh, we also went to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History.  It was pretty cool.  The exhibits were good, albeit small.  We also saw Wall-E while we were there, and it was the super-cutest movie.  Jennifer asked if I said that because it was cute, or if it had robots.  I said because it was cute, but after thinking about it, I think the robots had a lot to do with that, heh.  Anyway,  here's a few AC pictures.  It's mostly just fursuits, but I'll post some pictures from the museum, too, which is mostly dinosaurs.  ^.^;  If I had been at all smart, I would have taken pictues of the purty art.  Oh well.  Most of the artists there have websites.  I sized them down, so they wouldn't take up ridiculous amounts of space.

This griffon was really cool.  He/she had real feathers on the costume.

One of the dealers had this guy up at his booth, and I just had to get a picture of it.  I love these guys, even if I can never remember their name.

He's a Tauntaun!  ^_^  Even though his name is Wookie, hehe.

It's Renamon, from Digimon, and Suicune from Pokemon, hehe.

Jennifer's friend had a giant meat-on-a-stick to go fursuit fishing.  I guess he got several catches, but this was the only one I was able to get a shot of.  Came out good, though I think.

This raptor guy was wandering around all weekend, and I finally got a picture with him on Sunday night.

Again, the Force was with me Sunday night.  This guy, too, had been wandering around all weekend, but I didn't get a pic of him until Sunday night.

Ungh, I are teh lazy.  Museum pics later.

Misc

 Oh yeah, I forgot to include God of War III yesterday.  Can't believe I forgot it.  O.o  And I installed Diablo II, so if anyone wants to join, please do!  My account name is Harui_Komah, and my character is Harui.

Also, I've been meaning to put this up the last couple days:

XD  I luvs it!  And it only bolsters my need of a chef boyfriend.  I mean, is that too much to ask?  A guy who likes video games and cooks?  I'd totally marry him if he made me a Jell-O metroid.  I don't really like Jell-O all that much but... it's a metroid! <3

I have some more Spore creatures, too:

This is my attempt at creating a Ki-rin.  It's a far cry from the beautiful, graceful creature that it's supposed to be, but given my limitations, I think it came out rather well.  Especially since there is like, almost no way to render fur.

This is my Asian Dragon, and I think he came out wonderful! So cute!  It's rather small, because of the way I had to bend the spine, but it's definitely one of my favorites.

And this lovely abomination, lovingly named Crapmuffins, I made just to see how much of an abomination I could make.

I also made another neat monster, but the SCC has suddenly taken to crashing whenever you try to open the Sporepedia.  :(  Which means I can't load any of my creatures.  I can still make them and everything just fine, I just can't load them.  I'm thinking I'll save my creature files, then delete it and re-install it.
