Things unexpected.

The best things come unexpectedly.

On the bus the other day, this person unexpectedly helped me when I was asking my other friend for help, which she refused. That just made my day. I was so happy. To think that I never asked him for anything, I never wanted anything from him, and yet he just gave it to me.

And then I realized that the good unexpected things always make you happier than things asked for. Because when you ask for something and it happens, then the happiness comes from the fulfillment of the expectation of receiving it and not from the sole reason of receiving such a thing. And actually, when something occurs unexpectedly it’s that much greater because you get double the happiness: receiving what you secretly wanted + the random unexpected kindness of another person or event that led to you getting what you wanted. The latter happiness lasts longer and grows deeper into your mind.

Having expectations is not good one way or the other cuz
1) if it is fulfilled—you expected it so it’s not that special
2) if it is unfulfilled—that leads to disappointment and you get sad or down.

So think back and smile at those unexpected things that have happened to you (ie: you thought he forgot but he didn't. you thought it wasn't going to happen but it did. you have no idea that someone would do that or something like that can happen to you....but it did!).

Be grateful to the world, to life, to people that made it possible, to have these unexpected pleasures happen to us. They bring you simply ineffable joy.

Hello Hello there! It's been a while! I've missed you all =)

Here's a look at my First Semester at Rutgers University:

I've made a lot of wonderful friends. I love them all. Floormates, classmates, clubmates, Mates in general! haha.

So a lot has happened...drama, boys, girls, failures, fun times. You know, College stuff and I've loved Every Single Bit Of It. So if you were wondering, I'm good, really good, and I'm Happy, really Happy.

However, the grades...yes, my grades... let's not talk about them...but I will say that I did Horribly. Annnnnddd my mom said that if I don't get a 4.0 next semester, she's not paying my college tuition. Yea, so I better start working my butt off.

I can't even explain it. College is the best thing that's ever happened to me. I've had the most fun these last 3 months than I've ever had in my life. (a bit exaggerated but close.) and I love everyone there. I've made great friends, and you know what, they're nice and they love me too! haha. So, all is good, all is well.

And so, I hope You're Having the Time Of Your Life.

See you in another semester!

20 Days till I graduate from High school. Wow.

Today is Senior Cut Day. Plans? None.
Enjoying the fact that I'm in school is good enough. =)

Summer is coming up fast. and I know it'll be gone even faster. Have to make the best of it! Gotta hangout before all my friends.
I feel like it's a race against time and the inevitable change. Somehow, I must win, even if I know it's impossible.

Looking for a job. Someone hook me up?

I find that cleaning, homeworking, and keeping my hands and feet busy keeps my mind off of things that I don't want to think about.

I might become a work-a-holic to escape my thoughts.

cuz i was driving too slow. I was following the speed limit!!! lolz, i guess no one does that these days....

*sigh* I'm a horrible driver. I, myself, don't even have confidence in my driving skills. I'm the daughter that gives her mother heart attacks when driving. I sucked at turning...think i'm getting better. [Practice makes perfect!]

Yea, i realized I have to stop depending on other peoples for rides so....unfortunately, I have to set myself loose on the roads.
