my weekend wasn't boring at all. Friday night... we had karaoke at home. that was fun. more nieces and nephews came and slept over so it was more fun.

saturday... i went with arvin to pinamalayan, mindoro. it was an hour away from home. we visited his friends. we went to the beach in the afternoon, but he didn't tell me we were gonna go... so i didn't bring swimming clothes.. so we just ate and chatted. we walked around and i collected shells and stuff.

sunday... went to the catholic church... thought i was late for the third mass... but second mass ended late.. so i went to half of second mass... and stayed for the third mass. then i went to the protestant church... but one of my nephews fell in the playground and was bleeding a lot.. so i bought him ice cream and took him home. i didn't finish the mass.

arvin and i went to gilbert's store. arvin and gilbert were my older brothers best friends in elementary. i texted ana lisa, ana marie and melissa to see who's available to hang out. ana lisa replied. so we went to her place and picked her up. we went and looked for melissa. found her on her way to Katherine's house... (arvin, gilbert, ana lisa, ana marie and melissa were all friends from elementary). we all chatted. talked about the olden days... hehe. so funny.

after that... ana marie texted me and told me to go to her house. (ana marie was one of my best friends and she lives close to my house). so arvin, ana lisa and i went to her house. we swam in their swimming pool and arvin got drunk with ana marie's dad, uncle and boyfriend. she invited me to sleep over... hehe. so since my house was close, i just yelled across the fields to my house and told my dad i was sleeping over. i went home after swimming to take a shower and to tell my dad i'm sleeping over ana marie's place... and he said he heard me yell. so that was funny. ana marie and i used to do that wen we were kids. she yells to my house to let me know she's coming... then i come out and we both walk to our other friend's house.. right next door (hospital... her parents are both doctors... hospital right next to my house). kinda fun reminiscing. we just sang the whole night and talked about our lives and stuff.. i will truly miss all of them. hehe. so funny... her parents are trying to hook me up with their son. hehe. i just keep on cracking up.. i mean.. inside...

i met up with gilmour and maria elena in manila last week after jay left. (also elementary friends). gilmour and elena were more competition for me. they were #1 and 2 in our class... a girl name faith is third... i'm fourth. we were always competing with each other in elementary.. gilmour was also my prince charming in preschool. and since then everyone was pairing us off. they thought and still thinks we're going to end up together. kinda funny.

anyway, this is pretty long now. gotta say goodbye for now. in exactly one week from now.. i'll be in the u.s.

hello again

prob. tired of me already. this is the most i've updated my site. i think. hehe. crazy. i'm here at this place everyday. still bored. woke up at 7:30am. played with my niece and nephew. they are so cute. 2 and 3 years old. hehe. they followed me everywhere. i had to hide from them to get here. hehe. they are so cute. they're the only ones keeping my days full. but somehow, i'm still bored.

i hanged out with arvin last night after he came home from work. he picked me up and we watched "just friends" and "ice age 2". ok that's it for now. bye.

Yet another update.

what can i tell y'all when i already said a lot yesterday. hmm. still bored. there's really nothing to do. it's too hot. all i do is eat and sleep. at least i didn't take my usual nap today. i decided to go to my cousin's place to order something. then my nephews came and i played with them a little. one of my nieces went to the hospital yesterday because she fainted in school. she's doing better now. i'm so glad that we're here to help them financially. i know they won't take her to the hospital if we weren't here to take care of the cost.

a person's life is so much important than money. that is something i experienced first hand when my dad went to the hospital. my fam. decided to take my dad to heart center in manila because they couldn't do anything in calapan, oriental mindoro. but when they gave me the bill of his one day stay in the hospital and ambulance with nurse transport to manila... i thought it was too much. and rethought transfering my dad. but when i saw him having a hard time breathing, i couldn't believe that i'm thinking of the cost before my dad's life. crazy huh! but at the end... we transfered him to manila. he got better right away. i'm so glad my fam. decided to transfer him. now he's doing much better at home.

oh yeah. i'm so happy because i just found out that i have a job when i come back. i mean, they told me i'm welcome to go back when i return, but i wasn't sure if they'll have an assignment for me. my supervisor just e-mailed me that there's work for me when i get back. so yay! save me time. don't have to look for a job again. great. i can't wait to get back. at least i know how to keep myself busy when i'm there. here... it's so hard.. too hot.. and i don't have a car. i can't wait to start driving again. till next time. bye..

ANOTHER UPDATE!

hi everyone. it's rose again saying hi. i tried to sign on aim, but couldn't. i'm on yahoo messenger right now chatting with jay. add me if you have yahoo messenger. lrgines... that's it.

so i was able to visit four medical schools and drove by one for a total of 5. i haven't made a decision yet. i think i will apply for all of them. at least i know that i will get in one for sure. they were going to interview me at the spot already and they said i can start this month, june. i told them that it's too soon for me and i have a lot of things to take care of when i get back in the u.s. makes me not want to apply to the med school since it's really easy to get in... but i learned they have 100% board exam passers.... and most of the top ten board passers graduated from that med school. so it's not a bad university. kinda feels good since my back-up plan is still a good school.

so done with that. Jay left on sunday. he's in sf now. i had fun. hopefully he did too. i feel so bad for dragging him around when my dad went to the hospital for a week. we had to cancel our boracay trip. and shorten our stay in puerto galera and palawan. and still, i had fun. was a tough vacation for everyone. it's so different when he left. i never felt so alone. with him, i felt like i could do anything and go anywhere... but the day he left... i was so scared. but towards the end of the day... i was able to go around manila alone. and the day after... i was able to go back to mindoro alone. something i've never done before. i'm so proud of myself.

anyway, now i'm so bored. there's nothing to do here. our dvd player is broken. someone plugged it in a wrong outlet.. sucks.. now i can't watch anything. anyway, it's cool. well, i'll end here. i will be back on the 26th. take care everyone.

Another update

Hi everyone, finally i'm not timed. hehe. i'm in manila...my aunt's place and she let me use her internet. so now, it's free and not timed. yay! anyway, my mom and my sister are leaving for SF tonight. we will go to the airport pretty soon. i wanted to do a lot online but then internet here is pretty slow. but then again, it is free.

there's power here in manila. they weren't affected by the storm last week. lucky them. still no power in mindoro. really glad we have generator. so worth it. we left mindoro around 3 this morning. didn't sleep. relatives didn't sleep neither. it was fun, but it was really sad leaving. everyone started crying and i couldn't help but cry. and to think.. i would be coming back. i am so not looking forward to leave. i know i will be sad. i grew close to my relatives already and i hope i don't have to leave. i'm pretty sure though that i won't miss the humidity. i love the cold showers though. so refreshing. i don't really mind taking multiple showers in a day. cold showers are good.

our new house is always full of people. it's so fun. my allowance before j comes already ran out two days ago. sucks... but it's worth it. i don't really buy things for me. i buy gifts and prizes for my nieces and nephews. they are so cute. i've never had so many. i feel so old. hehe. good feeling though. well not really. i like how they are so happy with the things i give them. no matter how simple i think they are.

i will truly miss all of them. don't get me wrong... i miss california too, but this is a good vacation for me. my elementary friend, arvin... yes he's a guy. i have other friends but most of them are working in manila. so anyway, arvin is really nice. he has transportation... scooter/motorcycle... so it's very easy for me to go to anywhere i want to go. since he has one month off of work, he has time to show me around. 3 years ago when i was here, he was inside a seminary..(want to be a priest), so we only hanged our for a couple of hours. but now, we've been hanging almost everyday. he offered to show around j when he comes also. we'll see what we'll be able to do. of course, more update to come.

i will hang out with a couple of friends from elementary school here in manila until j gets here on wednesday. i'm so excited that he's coming. i've never been anywhere here in the philippines. i mean, i haven't gone to tourist spots before... well except for boracay, which j and i are going to next weekend. nooo.. after next weekend. so yeah, i will be visiting 7 medical schools this week. then at night, i'll hang out with my friends. i will be staying with my cousin. until j gets here.

anyway, i should get going now, this is getting pretty long. update won't be for a while unless j and i find internet cafe in the middle of sight seeing. then i'm pretty sure, we'll say hi to everyone. ok, have fun and take care. don't miss me too much. hehe. bye for now. till next time.
