joyce and i are finally in europe! its been pretty crazy getting to london, but thankfully we made it here safely.

im procrastinating. not in the way that i have a huge test or paper tomorrow, but i have a lot of studying to do for next week and i havent done any! so i figured that i might as well put up pictures and update on my life.

this semester has been keeping me much busier. physio + lab, anatomy + lab, and being an ata for 2 microbio labs. so when i came back up for spring, i was waiting for news about when my interview for pharmacy school would be. and with only 1 week notice, i had my interview feb 2. in the end, i felt like both went pretty well but then all these doubts started creeping into my mind. i wasnt really expecting any news back on it until like april because there is another interview date this month. but i checked my mail a few days ago, and i got a letter saying that i passed the writing sample and interview! i am so incredibly relieved and thankful, and now i have europe to look forward to and pharmacy school in the fall. 

i got to spend this past saturday with helen and jennifer! it was really good to see the both of them. and we pretty much just did what we always do when we hang out- eat lots of food and talk. but jennifer suggested this ice cream place called ici (its french!), and it was so yummy! they had really interesting flavors, but helen and i both got peanut butter chocolate chip and we both agreed that it was probably the best ice cream we ever had.

my roommate and i have been cooking/baking pretty often. its probably one of the things ill miss the most about not living with them next year. but some of the things we made are soojaebee, red velvet cupcakes, and brownies. we even tried making our own hodduk at home with a recipe we found online!

i really like watching food network and cooking shows, so i was really into top chef when it was on. my friend works at a sushi restaurant and he got me an autograph of mike, one of the guys from the show. he actually lives/works really close to stockton. he wrote 'stay sweet baby and stay cool', but too bad he spelled my name wrong. oh well, i was still really excited! but i guess that doesnt compare to joyce taking a picture with nicholas cage!

LOTS of studying next week, then spring break! yay!

 hello everyone!

i havent really been up to much but i had the sudden urge to update. maybe cause finals are coming up. and then i get to go home next tuesday! and i get to drive down with lovely jennifer/yoojin chung. and lucky me, i have only one final during finals week. im excited to go home. i cannot wait to see everyone. family, hs friends, church friends, bf/fiance joyce kim- thanks for always calling me lately! i appreciate our talks a lot

and there are so many movies out it seems. movies i actually really want to watch! the holiday, blood diamond, the pursuit of happyness. someone watch them with me! i promise not to fall asleep!

i cant believe christmas is ony 13 days away! and i have done no christmas shopping AT ALL. i think that stresses me out more than thinking about finals. oyy.

things have actually been pretty busy, despite the fact that i have 3 day weekends all the time. going home was pretty nice. im always reminded that im lucky to know the people that i do, at home and at school. i have many things coming up lately, and im nervous! applying to pharmacy school is making me nervous. my application is due november 1, followed by writing sample on november 4, and then interviews around february. and too bad ive never had a real interview before in my life. help!
