Here are some pics of the 1911 as it sits now. I removed the drop in grip safety because of the memory bump. The Clark's I want has a GI contour and I want to be able to be proficient with that. Like I said below, though, there may be no Clarks available, so I'm looking into other options. Maybe King's Gun Works. We shall see.

This shows my modified GI grip safety I used to clear the commander hammer and the King's thumb safety.
