| USF aKDPhi's Carines & Nessa for Binibining, 2006 On behalf of Nessa and Carines, we are asking for everyone's help - monetary donations OR just help with advertising this event, Binibining Florida which will be held here in Tampa on Saturday, December 16, 2006. What is Binibining Florida? Binibining Florida, or "Miss Florida" in English, is a beauty pageant and essentially a fundraiser organized by the Association of Filipino Students at the University of South Florida. With the help and support of various community organizations and the participation of other Filipino Student Associations from across the state, Binibining Florida will ultimately raise funds which will be donated to an organization that physically assists the destitute people of the Philippines. You can help us by donating benevolent funds which will aid our organization's contestant as she competes for the title of "Binibining Florida" on the 16th of December this year. You can also contribute by purchasing pageant tickets or advertising space in the pageant's souvenir program which will be given to many college students and professionals in our community. All proceeds from this affair will benefit the Philippine Medical Society's upcoming medical mission in March 2007 where free medical assistance will be given to the disadvantaged people of Iloilo, Philippines.

| Happy Birthday to you..it's the start of the week and i dread it already just because i have
so many things to turn in since i will be leaving "on a jet
plane.....!!!" LOL! so, my hard work will definitely pay off
because i will be in san antonio w/ my hun, oliver...sightsee,
relax and meet up w/ my mkim and lynne in h-town!  ahh...this is what i've been looking forward to....
got back from a night at orlando to celebrate the last half of O's
bday! took him to this restaurant called Ohana's at the Polynesian
Resort on Disney where they sat us right by the window and got a
perfect view of the fireworks coming from Magic Kingdom. we lucked out
on this one..hehe! and the night before, took him out and went w/
justin m, justin n and angel, jlee and dan v to kobe restaurant. thanks
you guys!!! 
i seriously never went out of my way to do this for anyone's birthday...he brings these kind of things out of me and i love it!

| ...need to vent...
have you ever hated a job so much that you come home crying about it
because of the people you work with (some of them), work for, etc???
it's so freakin' annoying!! i worked last saturday and the members know
we open from 9 to 1. i was there till 1:45!! wth?! my manager made a
good point....how the hell are you gonna make us stay till late just so
you can sleep in for a couple hours! it is so inconsiderate for the
members to come in at 12:59 and assume we can plan their whole vacation
in a matter of a minute! wtf?!?!
as for today, i got out at 615 when the members know we close at 530!!
i'm so pissed! she was at the cashier getting tickets to disney and
universal...i call her out of the lobby because she needed a hotel. it
was already 5:35! at that point, i wanted to go home because it was so
busy - nonstop walk-ins! i finally found her something for
tomorrow!!!!!
i love all the perks that go w/ my job, but i can't stand the members!
it's hard to put a smile on your face knowing how much you want them to
leave.....
on a brighter note...i'm finally updating from my weekend w/ the girls at sooooo cal! hehe!

Hollywood. Sephora for 3 hrs - Sako: "we not only buy friends, but our
self esteem too!" j/k! haha! bought Oliver the "Best Lover"
award..hehe. got lost for 2 hrs trying to get to a club on
thurs...never made it in. nothing like Filipino hospitality!!!
"UNCLE EDDIE!!!" lol! stopped @ Jollibees - our Filipino McDonalds.
carines was desperate for ensemadas @ Goldilocks that she wanted the
guy to deliver them to her (45 min away) so it wouldn't spoil..lol.
visited Venice Beach. got dressed to go clubbing on friday...didn't get
lost this time..hehe! thanks for my shot frances..that really ended my
night..gosh! i was getting low w/ sako and my pants ripped!!!! we got
to see paris hilton walk out of her car into some bar because we made a
wrong turn..lol. saw a pair of boobs and a nipple, thanks to sako and
stephanie! haha! "oliver, oliver, i saw stephanie's boobs!" i had to go
really really badly, so i ran to the bathroom while sako was taking a
shower. and i told her to sing something so she wouldn't "hear"
it...haha, so she sang the "song". field day - and the winner goes
to......my EXTENDED family, "KEY CLUB" hehe! 1st group to get IN &
OUT! nonstop KDPhi shopping!!! dressed up for our banquet. met kathy
domingo, marie bui and beth manongdo..such celebrities. also, what made
our night, got to meet one of the founders, Serene Ngin..she's so
sweet! our very 1st performance!!! almost getting lost to the
airport...heading to mexico!! LOL!
USF LOVES FSU, UH and our mom!!!

| what an awesome year!!Let's see...two wonderful things have happened to me this year...
I graduated last week along w/ my sister, Lerissa and my wonderful AFS
fam - Jerald, Jhawn, Karl, Jessica and Ashley! Woo-hoo c/o 2006!
Thank you for everyone who came out and showed some support. What to do
now? Work until the summer is over and find a job as a pharmaceutical
sales rep, continue to take classes to raise my GPA and then...get in
to nursing school!
Afterwards, had lunch w/ my parents and a few of my closest friends @
Crazy Buffet. Thank you for the gifts, cards, flowers and balloons
(Dan). Haha! I've been extremely busy to send out the thank you cards,
but you all will get it soon. LOL! You'll see why in a second....
It has been party after party...went to Hyde Park Cafe on Thursday and
Saturday, went to Whiskey Park North. I was extremely tired cause I've
been up since 630 but it was definitely a blast being with everyone,
even though my guy friends almost got into a fight thanks to me...lol.

Congratulations to the 41st chapter at Duke University
To think, just a year ago, Sako, Nat, Lerissa and I were sitting at
Kaleisia having S.W.I.T.C.H. meetings and watched girls come and go,
but in the end, I'm glad to have the 11 strongest experience this with
me. I will never ever forget this moment!!! What I've always wanted,
sisters from across the nation! 
What a day!!! LOL! Don't we look good in our sweatshirts?! Haha!
