  • I have been seriously considering closing this blog down.  Thinking about this blog made me think about the trail of blogs I've left in the world of the 'tubes.  That's a lot of useless space.

So, unless you can convince me otherwise, I'm taking down this blog (and all three and a half years' worth of entries), and leaving the world of Xanga.

Though, I'm not so sure you can.

    Toodle-oo for now.

  • Tough

This has been a rough week.

I do not claim to be a writer or anything close, so I will leave the words of others to explain.

Oh, and a few pictures, as well.

  • Quick update

Wowzers. Almost 4 months, eh? And I'm not the worst one? Man, Xanga... when did you die on me?

True to form, I am updating at a time when I have, in fact, the least amount of time. Or, at least, time that should be spent doing something other than updating a blog. Rather, it should be spent doing something productive like cleaning or showering or reading or starting research (yes, I said "starting") or writing papers.

I have been catching up on lectures that I have neglected over the semester, and my eyeballs are pretty much shot. A few minutes more, and they probably would have fallen right out of their sockets. Not a pretty picture.

I did, however, have a great weekend. Blackmon came down, and that was fun. I got to play some Smash, and that was fun. Tara and Audra and I went to Irashai Saturday night and ate a ton. I went to see the Moody Blues, and they really put on a great show.

Now, it's time for dinner and studying until I feel like quitting school forever. For reals, E, I am ready to be done with you. No lyin'.

  • '08

Oh, I'm still here.  I'm still kickin'.  Things have just been busy, and I have been having quite a lovely time.  I'm still awake because I didn't do much of anything today, so I can barely sleep.  Plus, there are lots of kitties running around and making noise.  Today, I did, however, catch lots of pokemans and watched some tv on dvd with the sig other.  Other than that, there's not much else to say ;) but mainly because so much has happened, and I have another blog.  Some of you can expect an email from me soon.

Happy New Year!  2008 has started off great.

    And the countdown begins...

I am glad that this past week is over, for many reasons, most of which are the four presentations I had to do.  Four? Yes, four.  Did I ever mention how much I hate presentations?  I should probably take the time out now to do so right now.  Guess what?  I hate presentations.  A lot.

It is almost time for Christmas break, but it doesn't mean as much as when I was simply a student.  I found out my Christmas & New Year's working hours, and we get off at noon on Christmas Eve and 300 on New Year's Eve.  Luckily, we are a bank and are closed for holidays, so we know that we get off two days, at least.  I just miss the three weeks of nothing.  No responsibilities, no worries.  Just sitting and reading and playing DS and watching movies until I can't do any of those things any more.  The only solution?  Time to go back to school.  And about that time, it would be.  Oh, well.  We can't go on being children any longer.  I guess it's time to grow up (or become a teacher).

The last things keeping me from break:
2 papers to finish up and finalize
    2 CE papers
1 take home exam (and yes, I know my professor can read this)
    1 exam

But there are no more presentations, and I thank God for that fact.

I had a good burfdee.  The girls at work brought me a cake and some barbeque weenies, so we had a good day of eating and being slack (oh, wait... that's just one person).  Went to G-ville with the boy I am so fond of and we had a nice evening of fondue eatings and um, Best Buy wanderings. (ha). Event went relatively well.  Had many people who were so generous in offering up themselves and their time.  It is because of them everything went as well as it did.

This weekend will consist of working all day tomorrow, going to party a little, studying some more, class all day on Saturday (but my last exam for that class, whew) and maybe meeting up with a friend Saturday evening.  I'll still need to finish up my papers and turn them all in by Monday or Tuesday sometime, and then hopefully, I'll be finished (other than the one class meeting on Thursday morning).  Then, it will simply be working at counting monies and being nice to people.  I think I can handle that :)

Until the next time I update... later taters.
