This was absolutely one of Jan's favorite activities. Maybe it's because it had a really nice view of the park. He's such a cutie.

Indiana Jones • Jungle Cruise • Tiki Room

His first time on the ride and he got to drive! "Excuse me, slow, please," the woman behind us asked with a smile. The Cruise was fun. Such cheesy repetitive jokes. "Tigers are known to jump 20 feet...thankfully we're only 15 feet away. He'll just jump right over us!" I sang along with the birds in the Tiki Room. That song sticks in your head!

My first time on Space Mountain in years. There's Jan, trying to keep me from holding onto the ride. That food was expensive, but good.

I was surprised at how many people were so nice to offer to take pictures of us. I think I took my foot off the gas and Jan almost crashed into the back of me 'cause he was so busy trying to take pictures :D

I used to hate parades. I look at parades as an opportunity to ride more rides, 'cause everybody's busy watching the parade...but it was his birthday.

Back to Stockton, which is just south of Sacramento. Then we stopped at this little town where there was dam. "Excuse me, is that a daaam?" He was so cute! I was driving a little later and we pulled off to switch off and take pictures of the sunset.

We spent New Year's with family at Jan's Auntie Barbara's.
I met more of his family, ate good food, met Katherine and Rachelle, and talked with Marla and Jason while Jan played Mario Kart. He kissed me at midnight, and then fake-proposed while we sat in front of the fireplace, lol.

Then drove to Memphis.
This was the night of our worst fight ever. We actually drove to Memphis, decided to go back to Clarksville, and then went back to Memphis. We got there as the sun was rising. A new day. Symbolic, eh?

Went out for sushi.
Jan took me out to a sushi bar. We sat next to a really nice family. It was the little girl's birthday. There were three children - all supremely cute. The little girl had a digital camera. The entire family was nice. And our chef was nice and funny, but had a very thick accent.

We cleaned the apartment.
Jan cleaned the floors and I cleaned the shower. The bottom picture is a panoramic view of his room from my point of view on his bed. Man, it was nice being there.

Jan played Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
I sat. And watched. It was just like we had been together for years. Myrna, I know what you mean...

We cuddled.
I love this picture. But he's always looking away from the camera! Probably looking at his own camera ;]

We cuddled some more.
I just loved being with him so much!

We shopped.
Well, window-shopped. Not much desire or time to spend money. It was nice being together and being all couple-y.

We toured the university.
I actually liked what I saw, even in the dead of winter. But I don't even know if Jan wants to stay at Memphis.

I admired my boyfriend.
We were in the library. And it was big. I loved it. I really wanted to stay and read.

We ate sushi.
We went to downtown Memphis and found a little sushi place. Can you tell I like eel and cucumber? It's almost what I always order.

Got a free oil change from Wal-Mart...

…because it took four hours.
They drained his oil before realizing they didn't have a certain part in stock. Boo.

Left Tennessee, flying into Charlotte, NC.
Our first flight together!

Free hotel room, ‘cause our plane broke.
Due to mechanical error our last flight from San Francisco to Stockton had been cancelled. We weren't even notified of the problem until we reached San Fran Int'l. But it was a blessing in disguise. That bed was super soft!
