| Soakin' up the SunAllen and I have returned home from Florida, and as nice as our vacation was, there is nothing like sleeping in our own bed again. Our internet went out for the last few days at our beach house, so I was unable to post anymore pictures. So, here are a few more photos that capture the remainder of our trip.

| Vacation BlissAhh, the sun! There is nothing like soaking up the sun's rays and having your hair flow in the ocean's breeze. Allen and I are celebrating our 1st anniversary a few weeks late by enjoying a week by the beach in FL. So far, our vacation has been wonderfully relaxing! We have both been needing this time away from the busyness of life for a while, so praise the Lord for making it possible!
Here are some visual glimpses into our time so far: | | |
| Hmmm... I'm surprised that Xanga didn't take this site away from me, since I have neglected it for so long. It has been eight months since I last posted. Yikes!
I don't have time to post an extensive entry, but I wanted to let the few of you, who check out this site, know that I am alive and kicking.
I will post more soon. For now I must go check on the dinner that's cooking on the stove. Happy Spring!

| End of a ChapterIt's been a while since I've posted on here, but I decided to go ahead
and do it today even though I may have lost anyone's interest in my site.
Today
a chapter of my life came to an end. After working for Starbucks
for over three years, I walked out of the doors of Starbucks Towne Lake,
for the last time as an employee, at 3:15p this afternoon. As
excited as I am about the chapter that will begin on Monday, I am
rather sad to leave my friends and fellow employees. Starbucks
has been a wonderful company to work for, and I am blessed by all the
experiences it offered that helped me grow as a person. My friends at work
were so encouraging today and bought me flowers and a going away cake.
I will miss them!
The cake says, "We'll Miss You, Mrs. Hug-hes (Huggies)."
On Monday I will begin working at a company called "To Your
Success." God has been so faithful to bring this job into my life
at such a perfect time. Having this job will allow me to now
spend more time with my husband, rather than work the rather odd hours
that come with working retail. I am so excited about all the
future holds!
Hope you all are doing well!
