I guess I'll write my first post since I've got nothing else to do.  I've been putting it off but now that I don't really have a reason not to..it's now or never.

Mikey's out of town and I'm home on a Friday nite.  It's the first time in a really long time..feels weird, feels like I'm wasting time cuz I'm not out doing something.  I miss him already, it's really gonna be a 'long' weekend.  I wish I had gone to LA with him but I don't have that kind of money to spare..oh well.

I went to work today, came home and took a nap, watched some TV and now I'm just reading through other people's xangas.  Which makes me kinda sad and wonder how come I don't lead such an interesting and exciting life.

I got my phone call from HR today..I'll be starting a new position at work soon.  Well it's not actually a "new" posiition..it's at the same branch that I'm at right now and it's the same job but it'll be permanent.  No more worrying about going back to my old branch which really sucked. Yay!  The only bad thing is that they're cutting my hours which results in me making $4000 less per year.  But the flip side is that I'll have more free time cuz I'll be working less days.  So hopefully I won't waste my days off and actually do something productive, like get my license.  I'm hoping to pursue a new interest or just one that I've pushed aside.

Softball season has started and I'm actually really excited about it even tho it's my second yr.  We're getting cool volleyball jerseys in matching girl and guy styles!!  I'm so excited, I can't wait to see how they'll look on the team, hope it turns out ok.  I'm getting better this year too in terms of fielding.  I've actually caught a few fly balls during practice which is a huge improvement for me.  And you know what the secret is?  Keep your eyes on the ball..as stupid as it may sound..lol.  Looking at the ball actually helps.  Duh!! that's when I realized that last year I was closing my eyes when the ball got near me.
