Dream:

Okay, so it all started with my cousin inviting me to this party. It was a small celebration party held in a tiny cottage. So, I went with her. she was all dressed up, and I was just wearing jeans. When we got there, I realized that the party was full of old white people (made me wonder if we were in Florida), but it was snowing, so it probably wasn’t Linda’s Homeland. So, when we got there, my cousin told me to stand in front of the entrance so that we can greet the guests; I did what she told me to do. People came in but they didn’t greet us. Minutes later, I see this tall white lady holding some sort of a cuplike dessert that had candles on them. All of a sudden the lady start telling my cousin how she’s making a mistake and that they started arguing about something. My cousin starts crying and then she runs off. All of a sudden, I found out, I don’t know how, that the part was my cousin’s engagement party. So I went after my cousin, and I started arguing with the lady that was talking to my cousin earlier. I told her that it’s none of her business if they want to get married. Apparently these white people didn’t approve of my cousin’s marriage.

Flash forward to another scene. My cousin and I were riding a hot air balloon. But we’re not ourselves. My cousin was a big green dinosaur, and I was a FAT inventor wearing a little hat that has a fan on top. And we were both riding the balloon, not inside a basket, but with strings tided to our waist. We finally made it to the ground, and once we’re on the ground, my cousin tells me that one of her strings broke.

Flash forward to another scene. It was the cottage again, but strangely it looks more like the examination room of my aunt’s clinic in Burma. I was standing in the doorway and I see that there were all these people sitting around the room in close tight spaces. At the corner furthest to the room, I see my cousin sitting next to her dad and crying. Next to my cousin, I see my aunt (her mother) talking feverishly to some white woman. Right next to the door and to me was my DAD, listening to the conversation. All of a sudden my dad looks at me, and said something in tone that a little kid asking for candy would use. He said “Please go study now, so that you can become a doctor soon.”

Then I woke up.

Now I'm a bit sad. You know that feeling that you get, when you think that you did well in an exam until you get your scores back and it hits you in the face, not just once but twice. First time, maybe I didn't study enough. So you study harder, actually read the material, but you still didn't improve. At this point, you feel a bit hopeless. In addition, you see everyone else's scores posted up on the wall, and there's about 10 people with 100s in just one sheet of paper, that's about 1/10 of the class. So, what does that say? That I'm just not getting it.

I feel a bit better now. I'll feel much better after I'm done baking.

Tomorrow's a new day. A new day to go to office hours and complain

This is so cute!

Gahhhhhh.. Stupid, stupid, stupid! Why do I keep running away and putting things off until the last minute? Soooo many times, I could've done something. But instead, I just left. I JUST LEFT! *sigh* I don't want to think "what if" anymore.

*sigh*

I think I need to have Freud examine my head! Maybe I'm fixated on a developmental stage.

On that note, back to studying psychotherapy.
