| long time no blog.
college has been pretty easy so far. however, for a certain amount of weeks, procrastination has taken over and i have failed to read the required reading for sociology. unfortunately, this resulted in the lowering of my test average from 91% to approximately 85% (91% Midterm1, 78% midterm 2). however, noticing the horrid grades everyone else recieved, our professor has provided the class with the chance to walk out with an A by playing a fish game. The pitiful thing was, however, the class failed to realize the catch of the game, ultimately failing to accumulate enough fishes to have the extra credit have an affect on their grades. In the end, the class only recieved an increase of 1.8%. in spite of this, however, i was not disappointed in the class because it would have been completely unfair and unbelievably undeserving for the students to attain that "A" without doing the work. while i may not be happy with my 78% in midterm 2, i am satisfied that i have the grade i deserve and feel optimistic towards the next exams. on the bright side, though, with college comes independence and freedom and as a result, i have had more time to hang out with my best buddy. sucks i havent played vball in a while and yet to have played tennis with my new racquet. =) i suppose thats all. i shall see you peeps next time. adios muchacho. |
