| Weekend adventures of me, myself, and IFriday a friend and family member died. Didn't have anything to do so I hung around the house after running a few errands. On Saturday I went to the Georgia Renaissance Festival in Fairburn. Two people where supposed to met me there at 11 am. They didn't show. I wasn't disappointed. SOP in my life. There were lots of things and people to photograph.
Not too far from the entrance, I encountered the village idiot
There were many families visiting that day. There was so much to see and do, looking at the map and event schedule was an important activity There were many gravity and human powered rides for everyone to enjoy. NARFLE THE GARTHOK!
Of course, if you needed a scalp there were some available. I should have checked on this a little more.
Small winged creatures were in abundance.
As were beautiful women
in great outfits
At some of the activities there were barkers enticing people inside
Some people just used there own looks and wiles to attract attention Great place to take photographs Sunday was Mother's Day. The Mother's Day activities were canceled due to the recent death. I went to the store, did laundry, cleaned bird cages, cleaned the kitchen some, played online, and grilled chicken and burgers for dinner. To top off the weekend, Clawing Bear dropped by for a visit. I hope all of you had a great weekend filled with fun, friends, and love!

| TGIF? Once more a soul dear to me has finished this book and started a
new one. He has moved on to seek his fortune on a new path leaving us
behind to deal with our existence as we will. His love, kindness, and humor will
be greatly missed in the coming years.
“Death is a beautiful
liberation into a freer life. The limiting clay garment, the body, is
put aside. ...Could we but see a bit deeper into life, we would grieve
at birth and rejoice at death... (and) be less troubled with the
difficulties of the earth life than we are troubled now with the
difficulties of one of our days.” ~Peace Pilgrim
Do Not Stand at my grave and weep; I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow; I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain; I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft star that shines at night, Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there, I did not die. ~Anonymous
