Weekend adventures of me, myself, and I

Friday a friend and family member died. Didn't have anything to do so I hung around the house after running a few errands.
On Saturday I went to the Georgia Renaissance Festival in Fairburn. Two people where supposed to met me there at 11 am. They didn't show. I wasn't disappointed. SOP in my life.
There were lots of things and people to photograph.

Barely Balanced

Not too far from the entrance, I encountered the village idiot

Village Idiot

There were many families visiting that day. There was so much to see and do, looking at the map and event schedule was an important activity

Family Affair

There were many gravity and human powered rides for everyone to enjoy.
NARFLE THE GARTHOK!

He flies thu the air

Of course, if you needed a scalp there were some available. I should have checked on this a little more.

Scalps?

Small winged creatures were in abundance.

As were beautiful women

in great outfits

At some of the activities there were barkers enticing people inside

Hawker

Some people just used there own looks and wiles to attract attention

Devil with a red dress on

Great place to take photographs

Sunday was Mother's Day. The Mother's Day activities were canceled due to the recent death. I went to the store, did laundry, cleaned bird cages, cleaned the kitchen some, played online, and grilled chicken and burgers for dinner. To top off the weekend, Clawing Bear dropped by for a visit.

I hope all of you had a great weekend filled with fun, friends, and love!

I agree with Oceanstarr.  These are great pictures.  They show the fun that everyone was having.  Glad you had a good time with much laughter and beautiful women.

Now is the month of Maying when merry lads are playing...

Yes once I prepared for a Renaisance faire here in California...and we practiced medieval songs. Eventually when the day came I choked. and didn't show up like the people who promised to be there....

There must be hundreds of Renaisance Faires but I don't think I ever went to one of them....

I did go to a sales presentation for a Blackberry on saturday and rested on Sunday.

I love Renaissance Faires/Festivals. I used to go all the time. I still have my "vartlet hat" (quoting Jethro from Beverly Hillbillies)I made staffs for all my friends. We would try to drink all the mead before they ran out.hehe.
Great pics. Thank you.
