| Hey Xanga world, its been awhile. Midland is still going great. And the band has been playing alot. We went to Georgia about a month ago and saw some pretty amazing works of God. Definatly a faith booster. I'm not too sure about what to post. We have been pretty busy this month, last week we went to houston and played in pearland for New Hope Church. It was great. And wednesday we played in Dallas. This coming week we will be back in pearland again. Lots of Driving. The thanksgiving holiday is coming up and I'll be going home for a week. I'll finally get to see my sister, its been almost 6 months since i've seen her. Then December will role around. The missionary's are going to be taking over our house for the entire month. So i'll be going home December 7th. And hopefully stoping in Huntsville for a week. Then making my way home. But things are really going great. I'll try and update this sooner than this past time. Untill then. | | |
| Ok, so i havent updated in awhile. I've now been in midland for alomost two months now. I absolutly love it here. I have finally started to make friends my age around here. So its been a blast doing that. Lots of wonderful people here. There is this thing on saturday nights, not sure if it has a name or anything but its basically a fellowship of christians, we cook and hang out and get to know eachother. I met those guys two weeks ago. There is wednesday night volleyball in odesa at the college, it was nice to meet some new people there to. The new contemporary service is going great. We seem to have lots of sound problems on sunday, it's really wierd. But people keep complimenting on how good the service is going. I think these people were ready for a big change and this is what they were looking for. There have been those typical dumb complaints by a handfull of people saying its too loud. etc, basically people are looking for somthing to gripe about it. Its actually quite rediculous how selfish some people really are. Especially those that are core members of the church. Satan is really attacking right now, i think he knows that God is about to do some amazing things at crestview this year. The church is about to break ground on the new church, thats going to be exciting. Lots of great things are happening, keep us and the church in your prayers. On another note, Cordy's best friend Ryan who was serving in Iraq died two days ago while he was on the field. Cordy took it really hard. If you could please pray for him and his family and also for the family who lost their son. The good news is that Ryan was a christian and is now with Jesus in heaven. That is something to rejoice over. | | |
| Well, I've been up in Dallas since monday. I'm having a blast. It's so fun up here. The band had a show here wednesday that went really well. The rest of the guys went back yesterday (thursday).
We move to midland in exactly one week, i'm excited. Its finally time! Feels like it has been forever when in actuallity it's really only been about two months. Everybody at the Church there have been asking when we are finally going to be up there for sure, they are really excited about us being there. Its a good feeling knowing the we will be welcomed with open arms.
I might head to college station tonight, not sure yet. Well untill next time.
Peace Love and Jesus!

| Wow, its been a long while since i've last updated this thing. My summer has been really busy the last couple of weeks. I just got back from Forest Glen with the band. We were the band for the church that we had been playing at on wednesday nights for the past year. It has been awesome to see a full transformation in this youth group. When we first got to the church, you would wonder if these kids have ever worshiped God at all. So for the past year it has been a struggle to open these kids eyes to why and how we should worship our savior and creator. This week was awesome, these kids have never worshiped this way before, true brokeness came over them and the spirit of God was working in the hearts of them. 20 plus kids got saved so praise God for that. The week before this past week, i was in florida at Bigstuff camp in panama city. The band didnt play but we went as sponsors for a church up in Dallas. The week was awesome, on the last night that we were there there was a call to accept Christ as your savior and the way the speaker did it, i've never seen done. He didnt ask everyone to close thier eyes and bow there heads, well he did when he was saying the "salvation prayer". but after that he had everyone open their eyes, and he asked those that said that prayer in their heart to stand up with everyone looking. And over 100 people stood up. What made it so cool is seeing people that were one their way to hell, now on there way to heaven. I've never been so excited about people being saved like that. It was a very unique way of doing that. The day before that our church held baptisim in the ocean. Several people went and got baptised, including myself. It was totally cool to be baptised in the ocean, with the waves crashing around you and the salt water. Not to mention I got to be baptised by my very good friend Zach. Totally cool. The band has two more camps ahead of us. We have one in tyler for a week this coming week, we leave tomorrow for that one. We come back and play in baytown, then head to dallas to play for thier youth group. When we get back from that we pack up and move to midland, then on the 31st we have a camp back the lufkin area. So summer is going to be really busy from here on out. keep me in your prayers. | | |
| Midland TxWell i just got back from my future residence, Midland Tx. It surely wasnt what I was thinking it would be like. It was actually a pretty nice city, the population is a little over 100,000 people. There is a whole lot more things to do there than in Huntsville thats for sure. We played for the church the we will be working at and they loved us. Which obviously is a good thing. There people are so nice, we as a band have never been treated at good as we were there. We stayed in one of the houses that we will be living in, in august and it was amazing, we looked at the other house Cordy and I will be living in and it has a lot of potential. When we first saw them we were like Kids in a candy shop. We were freakin out! They are fully funished and freakin awesome. God truly blessed us with them. And they are right next door to each other and across the street from the church. The whole band had a meeting with the personal commitee while we were there and it went really well. Honestly there is just way to much to type. Oh not to mention our friend Wes went with us and the church offered him a job there. God was truely amazing and the whole weekend God was just moving and comfirming that we are in His will. | | |
