Monday I was afraid would never end.  Deathly-long day filled with pain and tight smiles and anger and bitterness that sucked at my will and my emotions.  I closed them off.  Shut out my feelings to walk cold through the halls of my workplace.

It worked, but at what cost?

Today is better, if only just.  I spoke with my staff supervisor today and asked him to move me from this job.  He agreed, if I could find a place to go, to move me off this team in three weeks.  For the government, that's lightning speed. 

Soooooo....

Tomorrow, I meet with staffing managers for three different teams, and we shall see what is available.  I will keep you all informed.
