| It's been awhile...but I've been enjoying life and keeping busy!! *Majority of my friends have been turning 21, so there have been lots of parties (minus the drunkiness haha). *Spring break was spent half in Louisville with my Ashley (and one night with the Prada boys) and then the rest at home just taking it easy, all being a complete blast. *I worked Taste of Chaos and met JARED LETO!! Made my life right there!! *Cool Hand Luke is coming to my church (FB Kettering) May 24th, so be sure to be there and brings lots of friends!! Only $6, and proceeds go to missions there!! *Got a job at Lonestar on Miller Lane...so come visit me! Other than that, I've just been hanging out and enjoying life. Ended winter quarter with good grades, now getting into this quarter where, much unlike last quarter, all of my professors are amazing, so I'm enjoying it. Plus, SPRING IS HERE!! My favorite season! I'm really happy with life right now. It's strange, but I just stopped stressing about everything that is out of my control and I've been able to enjoy so much more that way. Doors are opening and exciting things are about to happen, and I can't wait!!
And ooo, my girls and I are returning to THE PINK HOUSE in August!! That has me counting down the days like crazy! That is all. Hope life is treating all of you well!

| xanga really is kind of done. it's sad. life has been pretty entertaining. it's been surprisingly calm, and yet insane. i have enjoyed my layed back quarter though. my classes are terribly boring but it has allowed me to be able to slow down with the other aspects of my life and to really enjoy them. i haven't been able to do that in years and it's been nice to get back on track in many areas of my life. spring is coming and i can not wait! it's my favorite-so pretty and optimistic after this winter. with spring comes break and with that comes a trip to louisville and then taste of chaos!! in which i get to meet jared leto, who i have had a celebrity crush on since early highschool which makes me a very happy girl! i love my internship-i am learning so much and am getting great opportunities, and my boss and i are starting to look at companies i can work for after graduation. that times coming...yikes?! a bonus is spring quarter i only have class tuesday and thursday mornings so i can finally get a job!! i need one so badly but just haven't been able to fit it in. finally, R-Squared has a show on Friday, March 9th. Bands are Towhee, Everybody Else Wins, All the Day Holiday, and Simply Waiting. It's at The Forge in Huber Heights, show is at 7pm, and it costs $6 atd. It is benefitting a village in Kenya we have ties to and is thus being labeled a *Kegger for Kenya* as we will have root beer kegs in order to innocently celebrate the coming of St. Patrick's Day. I hope you all will come!! I think that's my life right now. Just living and loving it. I'm finally not worrying about things to come-I'm just enjoying what is, and am optimistically looking at the future, knowing it is in God's hands. Right now, I think that's all i can really do! i hope you all have a wonderful week. i love you all!

| sometimes life just doesn't make sense...tomorrow morning i am going to a funeral. for a 7 year old girl. Katelynn, the niece of one of my best friends Amanda, passed away last Saturday due to a brain tumor. i know they say everything happens for a reason. that God is in control and has reasons for it all. this is one of those that i just don't get. why a girl at 6 had to find out she had a brain tumor, that those "what i want to be when i grow up" questions they ask in first grade won't ever matter, that her last year of life was spent saying good-bye to every moment, living in a hospital and undergoing chemo, to die at 7. it's one of those times that i just don't understand things. that everything happens for a reason, but would could possibly be the reason for a 7 year old to die? please pray for Katelynn's family and loved ones during this time. it's a really hard one. <3 | | |
