We often wait for lightning, as the Holy Spirit whispers the most powerful, peaceful and applicable word in our ear. God is so great! His mercies are new every morning! Oh, what a great, mighty and wonderful God we serve! I am overwhelmed by God’s love, and that he would love me. It is wonderful when the Holy Spirit interrupts  an evening and does exactly what Jesus told us the Holy Spirit would do (John 14:26-27). This love and peace the Holy Spirit gives is not for us alone, it is so powerful and overwhelming that it enables us to overflowing so that we can love those around us.

P.S. Dr. Walker is right. And I have the most awesome girlfriend in the world!

So, yes I am alive. Right now I'm in a Hotel in Arizona on vacation. This summer has been one of the busiest seasons of my life. I have been working long hours at the Pool Store like I did two summers ago in addition to interning with a California State Senator. I just finished up the paper work for 4 credit internship. I really have not gotten much of a break, I'm just as busy as I am a school, just doing things that are a little different.

So far I have driven just over 1000 miles from home. It has been wonderful to spend time with my family. We started the trip by spending some time near LA (in Hermosa Beach), during this stay I saw an awesome movie: the Bourne Ultimatum. Yesterday and today my family and I spent time at the Grand Canyon, it was a magnificent sight. But yet again, I'm not really resting, I am also trying to read through my Moot Court case book before I get back to school, so that I can be prepared for Moot Court Boot Camp which starts the 16th and the 17th.

I'm tired.

Can't wait to see you guys at PHC.

Catching Up

So, a few things have happened since the last time I posted. I guess I kind of missed anything after the PHC Student Government Presidential campaign, and that would include the whole month of May. But then again, I was kind of busy with finals, Emily's visit, internship and LSAT study. I'm so thankful that the finals and the LSAT are over, but I'm very disappointed that Emily's visit is over. I finally have a summer job, and so my internship and Job should keep me quite busy.

Finals, evidently, when well; I’m quite happy with the grades that I received. And the LSAT went very well; I felt that I did the best that I could have.

Emily had a good stay, we had lots of fun. We did lots of hiking, played games and went on other fun outings.

I’m interning with California State Senator Bob Dutton. Senator Dutton is a strong conservative from the San Bernardino area (in southern California). I have had lots of fun projects, but it is amazing that the internship is almost half over already. I’ve already earned 2 DRW credits. Currently, I’m doing some budget research for him. The budget will be heating up as the summer does. There was a big photo op that I was able to attend recently when I was at the capitol. I saw many different state officials there Schwarzenegger was there, as well as former Governor (current Attorney General) Jerry Brown.

I’m going to start looking into law schools to attend soon, maybe I’ll have to post about those as my search progresses.

Well, maybe this partially makes up for the long time between posts.
