  • Ridiculously Amazing

Wow... this thing is completely different.

I'll add a blog from another site so it seems like I've used it.

    Here you go:

    Ridiculously Amazing.

So I'm assuming you've guessed it already.

There's nothing so amazing that it's absolutely ridiculous, except for the Anchor Club of Miami Springs Senior High.

I've been in the Anchor club for two years already and I'm proud to say that I am a member of such a wonderful club. So amazing that I've become an officer just to become closer to such a club. But not only are we a club, we are family. We work our asses off in order to do what we do best, help others and our world around us. We are a service club who specialize in doing absolutely everything to our greatest potential. That's why this year, we will win Anchor Club of the Year.

Let me explain to you something. Our Anchor Club is absolutely and completely phenomenal. This family that I've grown close to, brings to me the most memorable experiences that I could possibly ever live. We work as long as we need to in order to succeed.

Something I am absolutely proud of is our Scrapbook. So amazing that it needs to be capitalized. All of us worked together to put this together, rather than getting help from someone more experienced, we labored long hours into this plentiful book to show to others our fruitful service. Our Scrapbook is a piece of each and every one of us Anchor members and sweethearts and I am proud to say that we made this ourselves. Not only does it record such hard performance of service, but it shows character. Sadly, our book was disqualified at Anchor District Convention because it was too thick. We sniveled, bawled, and bitched (under the radar). We apologized for doing so much service that such a book could not hold so much service. We rose up past our hopes of being Anchor Club of the Year because without a qualifying scrapbook, one cannot become it. Once the winner of scrapbook was announced, we clapped loudly for those who won, because we are better than that. The tears have fallen and now, they cannot stop us anymore.

Join the Anchor Club of 2008-2009 to help us win the Anchor Club of the Year, we'll need all the help we can get.

Something we did win though, the most important award that they could not deny us from. The Service award was presented to the Anchor Club of Miami Springs Senior High School. Because we are in fact a service club, I am appreciative for all the work you and I have done, and I am sorry to say to the other Anchor clubs, but we will win yet again this year, with more awards to come.

Along with the 1st Place Service Award, we also won:

    1st Place Environmental
    3rd Place Anchor for Kids
    3rd Place Patriotism
    3rd Place Lip-Sync
    President-Elect: Natalie Martinez

Again, please join, you absolutely will not regret it.

It is required that all Anchor PLEDGES, SWEETHEARTS, and MEMBERS bring at least a whole bag filled with things that can be sold.

The Garage sale is going to take place across from Miami Springs Middle School, at that building. Sorry I'm not too specific, but it lies on South Royal Poinciana Rd. (?) The building is called: Oleeta West Dade Masonic Center.

The Garage Sale will take place from 6:30 AM to about 3:00 PM.

Please attend, when you bring your bag, please see me for your points.

    On Sunday, 11/11/07:

There are two things going on this day, you can choose either one to go to although Ms. Doyle stresses going to the VA Hospital.

    1) VA Hospital at 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM, for the Veterans. Call Patti or Doyle for Info.

    2) Triangle Park in Hialeah at 10:30 AM for a Memorial Service for the Veterans. Kristine, our President, will be presenting a speech, so be there to support her.

If you have any questions, call me or any of the other officers.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
Remember guys! You get hours for everything that you do! Make sure you record everything you do in the Anchor binder for your own records, WE DO NOT RECORD YOUR HOURS FOR YOU.
