Wow! It seems hard to believe its been almost 3 weeks since I updated last. Time has just flown by recently. I was kept pretty busy last weekend doing all the food and stuff for the quiz meet at the church. So many kids! It was really awesome to see our team quiz and do really well. I think I would have liked to quiz, but sports took up so much of my time when I was in high school. Its a shame I couldn't do both. I didn't spend the whole weekend working though. On Saturday night I got to go to the Y with everybody. Fun games of volleyball. 10 people on a team makes for more fooseball-like games, but it was cool. Then we swam the rest of the night. They have a cool alligator slide, but the tower to get up to it was made for 3 foot tall people and the people who designed it had no concept of correct entrance angles into the water. Its cool when your young, but as you get older these things become more important ;o) Lets just say its a good thing I have an uncle who's a chiropractor.

I've been working quite a bit these last few weeks. Good to get some money, but its not full time so still no car. After having freedom for 3 years, its really hard to have to go back to being dependant on other people to drive you places. I guess its teaching me humility and patience. I will definitely be glad to have a car someday though.

I've been working out in the fields for the last couple of days. I've been getting plenty of sun but I burn way too easily Also, my allergies have been acting up and now I've caught a cold. Not much fun. Mom and I are running errands today though and thats always fun. Hope you all have a great weekend.

Its been a while since I updated. I'm still looking for a job, but I'm hoping to have one soon.

Today we gave my car (Stewart, to those of you who know him) to Doug, a friend of Nate's. My car was nothing special, but it was good for getting me from point A to point B. It's amazing how used we can get to our cars, we spend so much time in them. But the joy that Doug had was completely worth it. He is ready to make an impact for Jesus and he wants to use this car to His glory.  For that reason, it wasn't hard to part with it.

Well, its bedtime. Good night everyone. Hope you all have a great week.

This last week my plan for the future changed. I'm not going to Ohio State anymore. I really have no clue what I'm going to do next. I guess thats a good thing and a bad thing. The whole worlds open to me, I just need to figure out what I want to do. Easier said than done.

Hopes and Fears

These past few days have been really pretty.  Unfortunately, I've spent them doing nothing. I really want to get out and do something, but I don't have anybody to do anything with.  So I'm feeling a little melancholy tonight. It also doesn't help that my job here is coming to an end, the summer quarter is quickly approaching and I still don't have any leads on a job in Columbus. I guess I'm questioning if this is what I really need/want to do, but if this isn't it, than I have no idea what is.  I liked life better when I didn't have to be responsible and make decisions.
