So I'm sitting in the dentist chair this morning, being assaulted by daytime talk television hosts (kathy lee) and here is the headline coming out of london:

"Teen discovers bat in her bra."

good grief.........

stumped

hey....have you heard of that alias guy? that alias guy is so profound in his musings, that I think he should just speak for his whole household. I come to this website to post SOMETHING, since there has been nothing for 3 months, but am stumped. How could there ever be anything as clever, witty, and charming as the sagacious oracles of alias???

I made our first Christmas Eggnog. The first I've ever made and I really liked it. It had rum and mostly sherry. YUM! Anyone else actually like eggnog? Ashley E. said it tasted like a vanilla milk shake to her. (smile)
Happy Holidaze!

Santa Baby: 24 Festive Favourites
By Various Artists
see related

236 I am definitely in the Christmas mood now!
Santa baby, slip a sable under the tree,
For me.
been an awful good girl,
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight.

Santa baby, a 54 convertible too,
Light blue.
I'll wait up for you dear,
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight.

Think of all the fun I've missed,
Think of all the fellas that I haven't kissed,
Next year I could be just as good,
If you'll check off my Christmas list,

Santa baby, I wanna yacht,
And really that's not a lot,
Been an angel all year,
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight.

Santa honey, there's one thing I really do need,
The deed
To a platinum mine,
Santa honey, so hurry down the chimney tonight.

Santa cutie, and fill my stocking with a duplex,
And checks.
Sign your 'X' on the line,
Santa cutie, and hurry down the chimney tonight.

Come and trim my Christmas tree,
With some decorations bought at Tiffany's,
I really do believe in you,
Let's see if you believe in me,

Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing,
A ring.
I don't mean on the phone,
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight,
Hurry down the chimney tonight,
Hurry, tonight.

More Than 50 Most Loved Hymns
By Various Artists
see related

Today i received mail. I really like ordering things and getting them in the mail. I ordered a book from Victoria Bookshop in England. I was looking for a Common Book of Prayer with hymns as well. I was intrigued when I read this about the book:
"White leather marked on back with shape of ball of thumb and thumb......nervous bride?" no inscription.

I would love to know this book's story.

For now, I will meditate on hymn 286
"O let him whose sorrow
No relief can find
Trust in God and borrow
Ease for heart and mind.

Where the mourner weeping
Sheds the secret tear,
God his watch is keeping,
Though none else be near.

God will never leave thee,
All thy wants He knows,
Feels the pains that grieve thee,
Sees thy cares and woes.

Raise thine eyes to heaven, when they spririts quail, When by tempests driven, heart and courage fail.
When in grief we languish, He will dry the tear, Who His children's anguish, soothes with succour near.
All our woe and sadness, in this world below, Balance not the gladness, We in heaven shall know.

Jesu, Holy Saviour,
In the realms above,
Crown us with Thy favour
Fill us with Thy love."
