@hecticmuse - You may be right and there is no God.  But for me, the peace that comes from believing there is, is worth the risk of being wrong.

Peace and comfort are not enough reasons to believe anything.

@hecticmuse - I don't believe in hell.  I don't want to believe in a God that would do that to good people. And evil people, I should hope he obliterates.  I guess I do believe that I can choose what to believe, especially when there isn't proof either way.  Although I didn't read the link yet on proof there is no God.  I know you told me not to pray for you, but that only makes me want to pray that God will come to you and give you the personal experience evidence you need.
