| I'm done with school for the year. YeaH We got our results for our group speech. An 89. Not bad but I think we did better. Did extra credit so I'm pretty sure I've got an A. After this it's of to Applebee's with Charity to celebrate and then home to the coffee shop. The past few days have all been spent up at the shop. We're hoping to open not this weekend but next weekend. It's a lot of work and it looks so far from being done. But I"m sure everything will fly together in the end. You all have to come and see it . | | |

| Guess what! My speech is done . I'm so happy! We didn't do to bad either. Especially compared to the other groups. Only one more week and it's all over until September. Well, we start setting up the coffee shop this next week. Mom and I just decided last night that we're SO not prepared for this! Time marches on. Last weekend we(Mom, Dad and I) went to Steven's Point for a homeschool convention. My favorite part about it was that I bought over 50 books! I'm so excited! As you can tell, right now I'm in a really good mood. Everything that's been on my shoulders lately is gone! Or at least most everything . Now all I'm doing is waiting for Charity to get done with her class. Monday, I participated in a tele-conference call for my 4-H trip to Washington D.C. I'm really looking forward to it. Question: I need to make little things to trade with people from other states. These things need to represent Wisconsin or 4-H I guess. I want something cool. Anyone have any ideas? | | |
| Well today was speech and I got really frustrated . My group partners did not have their parts ready. I guess it ended up that I'm the group leader since they always ask me if they did something right of if they need ideas. That's not a bad thing since I like being the leader but sometimes I feel like I would love to hand the reins over so I don't have to be the ones making the decisions! But then I think about it and I remember times when other people were in charge and I hated it! So I guess in some ways it's my own fault and I should just embrace it or relinquish it gracefully! I've studied a lot in my speech book over the past few days since I had a test today. I learned quite a bit on anger management and I think it might help me. I find myself getting angry, frustrated, and hurt by family and friends and I think my speech book has helped me work with it. So that's good news! We head out to Stevens Point tomorrow for a homeschooling convention. I'm suppose to perform on the piano and I'm quite nervious and I don't feel prepared. So it would be great if you guys out there prayed for me on Saturday around noon time! | | |
| Today was all about piano! I had my lesson and then taught 3 lessons. And in between all that I practiced my pieces. My students recital is in two weeks and I don't know who's more nervous, me or my students. I just hope I'm doing a good job. Tomorrow is an open day.
A lot of school since I have a speech test on Thursday and my group also has to pull together our persuasive speech then. Oh, I also am performing at the nursing home and a retirement home. And at Steven's Point on Saturday. I'm the most nervous about that one since the people in charge found out that I'm a piano teacher and they asked me to talk about it. That's fine because I don't mind talking but it puts more pressure on me to play well to show that I can be a good teacher! Pray for me!
