| A U D I T I O N S: Auditions for
the 2006-2007 season of Central Ohio Drama Club will be held on August
24th and August 25th (Thursday and Friday) from 5-9:00 each evening at
The Harbor. Auditioning will be held on a first come, first
served basis - you will sign in upon arrival.
Each person auditioning needs to come prepared with a 1 minute segment
of dialog. I would encourage you to seek out a piece that shows
your versatility and showcases your ability to show a range of
emotions.
We will be doing 3 short plays this year:
The Story of Helen Keller (approx 30 min.)
Bedbugs (approx. 45 min.)
The Seven Cream Jugs (approx. 20 min.)
Rehearsals will be held on Wednesdays - beginning on August 30th.
Helen Keller will rehearse from 11:00 - 12:30. The Seven Cream
Jugs will rehearse from 12:30 - 1:30 and Bedbugs will rehearse from
1:30 -3:00.
Each cast member will need to purchase their own script and pay the following club dues for the 2006-2007 season :
Single Club Membership - $15.00
Family Club Membership - $25.00
Club dues and script payments will be collected on August 30th - our first day of rehearsal.

The summer months will be used to sort and plan your
productions. I will post information to the website:

Auditions will be held in late August. Rehearsals will begin immediately after casting.

Little Pigs are now available for a cost of $5.00 each. Let me

| Congratulations Cast of True Story - you all did a wonderful job.
The audience responded so well - you could tell they really enjoyed
your performance.
I was so impressed to see how well some of the cast reacted to lines
that were misplaced or circumstances that altered lines. You guys
were great!
John will be creating DVD's from the three taped performances.
I'll let you know when they are available for purchase.
These performances ended our official year for Central Ohio Drama
Club. Orange Barrel Production Company will take over now with
their rehearsals of Anne of Green Gables. I hope you all will be
out to support them in April.
I'll be sure to let you all know when our end of year cast party will
be held and of course we'll be announcing next
season! Talk to you in the
spring!
