If you can't tell already i'm just writing about the major things that are going on lately...speaking of which...today i had my last class of the semester! That's right i'm DONE! Now it's all just travels until i return...25 days OOoo...Also going to Ireland on Saturday which should be awesome...but until then I was beckoned by a certain mother that will remain nameless to write about my trip to Amsterdam...but i figure i will prolong it and write about a few things before that :)
April 4th
Megan and I walked to Chinatown today. Took us about 3 hours or so with stops to play and made business calls. It was a great walk on an amazing day! We arrived and walked around for a while picking up a few things that will remain nameless as well and then stopped at a restaurant for dinner!
We stopped at this delicious looking chocolaterarie...or however you spell it haha...so amazing! You know where they say the chocolate goes....right into your mouth YUM!

coolest museum that we didn't get to go inyo since it was too late...but that's okay cause we still got some kickass pictures :)
Our entrees...

Plat du jour...

Can you guess what i'm eating? Christin you are not allowed to guess...that goes for anyone else who may know :)
Megan got her meal and then her little dessert of some type of coconut balls...yeah, apparently they were quite tasty!

All in all it was a great meal, very relaxing and enjoyable. Although, i do have to say that the bathroom seemed posessed with it's strange noises and high tech flushing mechanisisms. I tell ya, the French find the strangest places to put the flusher...it's like playing hide 'n go flush to the "John Jacob Jingle Hymer Smith Song"...OOoo you're getting warmer...
A few days later..April 11th, I went on a 5 hour walk. I decided that since i had never actually walked the Champes Ellyses that it was about time i did so! Off I went, I enjoyed it so much that i did it again the next day!

These were very long/relaxing/amazing walks. One thing that has been most beneficial and helped me live this experience to it's fullest is being able to walk throughout all of Paris. It is safe to say that Megan and I have most likely walked through all of Paris...disregaurding a little bit of the southwest!
The trip is in it's last weeks and i'm getting sentimental...so i warn you now! ;)
Amsterdam and Barcelona to come... |
