According to the Kama Sutra book there are sixteen feminine states of mind during the preliminaries of love. A woman can be tender, restive, contemptuous, excited, perplexed, mocking, relaxed, seductive, importunate, disagreeable, vain, bored, complaining, incapable, anxious, or charming.

These sixteen states of mind appear when a woman is in love. It is in understanding them that the man must practice the art of embraces, kisses, caressing, biting, scratching, and love games etc. along with the woman's emotional state. And when he's burning with desire, and begins his effusions (without worrying) about the woman's reaction, than he wouldn't fail. However, if he doesn't understand the woman than nither him nor the woman wouldn't experience true satisfaction.

1. Feeling - when one is seized by the taste of love and desire wakes, the first confusion (the god of love) sows in the heart is called amorous feeling. The implementation of the feelings established in one's consciousness is called experience.
   
   
2. Affection - when she embraces you compellingly, or gently draws you toward her face beadily (as in - her face up-close to yours) or being playful. When she dances for you, or lays her thighs and legs over you as you're stretched-out on the bed or couch. When she sweetly caresses your face, arms, back, and legs (even if you're playing a video game, per se.) Or when she embraces you by hugging and wrapping her arms around your neck. She's displaying her state of mind (which) is disposed towards erotic activities.
   
   
3. Refusal - when a woman is angry with her lover, throws away her ornaments, and spurns his love.
   
   
4. Contempt - even if her lover brings gifts that please her, she rejects them with contempt.
   
   
5. Excitement - seeing her lover return from a journey, having not seen each other for a few days, even space a part will have her excited.
   
   
6. Perplexity - when she sometimes smile, sometimes lose her temper, throw away the flowers you purchase for her or threaten to, then pick them up later. Or go to sleep at a friend's house while her lover looks for her, or walks about alone here and there outside.
   
   
7. Amusement - imitating all your words and making faces. Insulting or taking low blows at you are all a part of her amusement.
   
   
8. Flirtation - approaching your face playfully or angrily, or going away from you with a grimace when you call her, pointing her finger of scorn at you, or acting jittery or hyper.
   
   
9. Seduction - fluttering her eyelashes, making her eyes dance, posing in varied positions, or motioning her body in ways where it comes off for what it is, seducing. Being friendly, laughing, talking, and interrupting herself; feeling a deep love for him and behaving accordingly.
   
   
10. Inopporunity - when he isn't in the mood. She approaches him and displays all the signs connected with desire. (This to women) quite possibly, is a form of rejection sexually and when this takes place, she doesn't understand it and since she's feeling rejected she wants it. She will initiate all the necessary measures to get what she wants, that is sex (intercourse).
    
    
11. Boredom - when, while talking, she yawns on several occasions or stetches herself. When her facial expression is plain or lazy-eyed. When she bothers you by asking you to talk or asking "how you're doing?" repeatedly. When her body language looks displeased or agitated: (out of boredom of course) like when her arms are crossed. Or when she curls her lips (pout) or look like she's sighing without fully sighing. When she fidgets or looks for something to do.
    
    
12. Moaning - the woman feigns pain. Pretends to play sick, have a headache or stomach-ache. So she pouts, whines, hums, mopes and sulks for attention.

In General

A woman may act a certain way when it comes to certain things. So I took it upon myself to grab (maybe, depending on the woman) the top 4 nature that seems to be in a woman's nature out of the Kama Sutra book. As follows: 

By nature, she refuses a man what he desires. Although she wishes to make love with her lover: She refuses to give herself up, but seeks reason to unite with him. To seek a pretext is a woman's nature. (Hence the saying: Men are always ready, all they need is a place. While women need and look for a reason to engage in sex.)

Although not granting him the encounter, she nevertheless shows herself to him, carefully dressed and adorned. From this he deduces that, although she is uncertain about coming to see him, or be with him (sexually or not) she could be taken by force. (And by force, it doesn't necessarily mean aggressive. It means assertive. But depending on the woman's mood, you could either take her aggressively or gently.)

Out of compassion, she fears to hurt him. "Because of me, in wishing to mount me, he risks hurting himself." She takes pity on him and does not desire to sleep with him.

Lying beside the sleeping girl, he seeks to find out whether she is disposed to have intimate relations. She pretends to sleep. Why? Because she wants to have sexual intercourse. (There are certain times, when the female is turning left and right and can't sleep, or moans aloud that she isn't sleepy. Usually, this means she wants it, but wants the man to initiate it.)
