| Looks like I haven't been writing on this blog like I said I would, with all the free time on my hand. What I've been up to? A good friend of mine, Paul Lin came back from his Naval mission towards the end of July. It has sure been a long time since we've hanged out so we've spent the following two weeks hanging out at his place, gaming it up, playing a little poker, partying, watching movies, eating out, and playing tennis. Another exciting thing is that we had a 5.4 earthquake last week or was it two weeks ago? I've lost track of time with my sleeping habits all out of order. Well anyways, it was pretty freaky since I haven't felt one in ages. Sure I've felt little tremers about 1.0 or two at Riverside a few times, but I haven't felt one as big as this one since the one at Northridge when I was little. This time I thought it was the end of the world..well not really. I just shot for the door once it woke me up to later find out that under the door was not really the safest place to be. You have to lay next to something and hope that if something falls, it will form a triangle around you. Well that's what I've heard. My Summer is turning out to be quite a relaxing one. There's still about 2 more months left of it and I'm not really complaining. I should really get a job, but I think I'll wait until next Summer. I'll probably have more computer knowledge to apply for those IT desk jobs. Other big events are coming up. Jimmy is also back for the summer to visit, and tomorrow is Jason Ung's 21st birthday. My big bro is also coming back from Seattle to visit this summer for a week. So there will be more great memories to make for the Summer. I'm still in fear of programming this Fall... Hope everyone is have a relaxing and fun summer! | | |
| I'm not sure where I left off. All i know that it's been too long since I've last posted. I just finished my Summer session at Rio Hondo on Friday. Now I'm officially on vacation. It was alright. I think I'll get C on Accounting. I've recently went down to San Diego to welcome a friend home from his long voyage across the world. It was great. I haven't seen any new Movies lately. Oh wait I've seen Wall-E, it was pretty good. I'm really looking forward to watching Batman: The Dark Knight though next week. Well so far everything is alright. Accounting was kinda overwhelming with an exam everyweek and all, but that's what happens when you only have 5 weeks of instruction. Now that I'm officially on break. There's nothing for me to do but to get back in shape, practice more on guitar, grow back my hair, and make the best out of Summer. Afterall, I'm going to be programming this Fall and it can be very stressful. I'm still contemplating on a summer job but other than that, I'm going to have a lot of free time. Hopefully, I'll be writing more on this blog. Have a great Weekend everyone! | | |
| As I sit outside the lobby of the Counselor's office waiting for a friend of mine, I am filled with anxiety, exhaustion, but yet at the same time at ease. Waking up at 6 in the morning today for a 7 AM final sure sucks. It's been a very long week with finals and summer school at Rio Hondo conflicting with each other (the reason why I haven't been posting). It's been a while since I've had a long week. The last time I recall, was back at Riverside when I had programming assignments due with finals at the same time to study for. College sure is stressful, but it's beats high school for me. I think it's all the individuality you develop and the freedom to do whatever you want as you age into adulthood.
What are my plans this weekend? To relax of course! Finals are over, but I still have summer school to go to the following week. Thank god it's only 5 weeks. One week down, 4 more long ones to go.
Summer is coming along and everyone is about to graduate. Congrats you all that are graduating this Summer! I'm looking forward to this summer and I'll continue to post more later. I know this post is all out of order, but I'm very tired. Maybe I'll fix it later. But for now it's time to get some Z's.
Have a great weekend everyone!

| With the past Memorial Day weekend, this week is almost done and I didn't really have to do much at school, since I don't have classes Tuesday's and Thursdays. The 9th week of instruction is almost over. Next week is the last week of Spring Quarter 2008 with Finals week after. This weekend is the last relaxing weekend I'll have. I'll have so much work to do i'll be begging for Summer to come a long. Then it's off to Summer school? I'm still not sure about Summer school. Even though I want to graduate early, the fact that summer courses starting at Rio Hondo is during Finals week pretty much overwhelms me. There's a lot of stuff due next week and a lot of studying to do. So I guess I won't be posting anything on here until maybe 3 weeks later? An exception for anything really crazy that happens in my life. Have a nice weekend everyone! Have the best last days of school until Summer!! | | |
| It has a been a while since I've written on here. Last time was my b-day I think. Well Spring Quarter is almost over. Maybe 3 or 2 more weeks? What I've been up to? The usual school, more school and relaxing. The last few weeks of school are going to be harsh. Thats where loads of stuff are due and all this stuff to study for. But after that is Summer so I don't mind. I'm planning on going to Summer school at one of many community colleges taking Accounting. We'll see I guess. I can always look for a summer job (which always end up no where). Besides school, I guess I've just been hanging around the house, playing some poker with some friends and what not. Yesterday was kinda nostalgic in a sense that I've been reintroduced into the manner of staying at home and watching Saturday movies on TV. It's been ages since I've done that. I've noticed I've been leaving home and going out a lot. So yesterday was the first time I've ever stayed home on a Saturday. They had AVP on (Alien v Predator), after that was Rush Hour (the first one) and I concluded the day watching Hitch (with Will Smith). William and Sam was over just hanging out in the Summer night's heat. Sam and my bro Austin reminisce with some good old Counter-Strike (that lasted only about 20 - 30 mins) and William was jamming it away on his virtual guitar. It was awesome. Then Sean came over after work and we went to eat at Norms. Another place I haven't been to for ages. Yesterday was alright. It turned a hot Summer's night into a cool one. (lol, that might have sounded gay). Today is homework day. I do not really know if I have any, so I better check. All I know is while I'm still young, I hope to have some more cool Summer nights... even if it's not even Summer yet. Hope everyone is having a nice remainder of the weekend and have a great week. | | |
