Well, y'all, I didn't post as much as I would have liked...

I've been working alot and i have artwork to finish for my sophomore evaluation, so i won't be online much the next few days. I'm headed back to school Saturday morning.

I'm  sorry I missed chatting with so many of you this break. Happy New Year's, all, I'll see you all online again this summer, Lord willing.

I meant to write a nice long post today, but i have a headache and it's late, so i won't .

In summary:
I woke, I web-surfed, I e-mailed, I painted, I went to church (Psalm 119!), I finally realized a major flaw in my communication skills and relationships (Note 1: Cause A gets Effect Bd instead of Bb -- this has always been true -- must find Cause C and replace Cause A -- breaking communication pattern 19 years in the use. Note 2: Chaff gathers where there is no wheat -- two things cannot occupy the same space at the same time -- a major area of life and relationships has been neglected -- must pour time, energy, and effort into wheat and gently disentangle from chaff. Note 3: Learn balance.) and was upset, I beat BubbleBobble with Kirstin (again), I chatted with Asher, I web-surfed, and now I'm headed to bed.

Maybe I'll write a longer and more coherent update tomorrow

A December post:

Aleph
1. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
2. Blessed are they that keep His testimonies, and that seek Him with the whole heart.
3. They also do no iniquity: they walk in His ways.
4. Thou hast commanded us to keep Thy precepts diligently.
5. O, that my ways were directed to keep Thy statutes!
6. Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all Thy commandments.
7. I will praise Thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned Thy righteous judgements.
8. I will keep Thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly!
-Psalm 119:1-8

What an incredible testimony to keep...

I'm HOME!!!!!!
 YAY!

This semester really flew by fast! I guess I knew it would, though, seeing my reference to that whole "time-space continuum thingy" in my last post of the summer.

Well, let's see here,  we got back Friday night at a decent time (I've been laying low online since then, it's been nice to be quiet for awhile after dealing with crowds of people and friends on campus all semester). Saturday I slept until about 10 am, then got up and puttered around most of the day. In the evening was Bethany Chapel's Christmas Treat (a big potluck and play), where I got clobbered by cute little kids who were happy to see me and where I got to enjoy seeing the play my friend Laura wrote. Sunday we kids slept in a bit too long and only made it to the regular service instead of all three ("all three" meaning the Lord's Supper, Sunday School, and Family Bible Hour), Sunday afternoon we ate lunch at Crista's house, then Sunday evening Mom, Dad, Matthew, and Crista went to a Christmas party or two while I curled up and slept (no, we don't have evening church - we weren't skipping). Yesterday I went to a doctor's appointment and a job interview, then pounced on Kirstin who'd just gotten back from school the night before. We pretty much spent the rest of the day together exchanging Christmas gifts (we've only actually waited for Christmas day once), playing video games ("BubbleBobble"! Oh, and I started her on "Breath of Fire I"), and decorating my house for Christmas. We got the tree up last night, but it was too late to start decorating it. The cat is fascinated by the new piney addition to the family room and could hardly be dragged out from under its branches all night .
My voice is almost back to normal after singing in the Messiah and Christmas Cantata last week, I sounded pretty awful when we first got home, though, and I'm still fighting a sinus infection. Poor Crista has bronchitis but has to go into work, anyway. Cristmas is shaping up nicely, though: Cindy is coming over today for a game & DvD marathon, Kirstin's planning to practically live here the next few evenings, Chelsea's Birthday Ball is on Friday, and I've already gotten to see Uncle David and Aunt Merris twice since we've been home !
Since I've been back from college, I've found that I can't stand sitting around just doing nothing. I've been taking my crochet with me everywhere (good thing, too, I have a lot to make for Christmas!), and I've been randomly picking up things around my room and putting them away. I'm greatly encouraged by this, maybe my room will actually be cleaner when I leave than when I came ! I've also found that random topics of conversation will pop into my mind, but I won't actually say them. This means I've been having happy little chats on the inside while being quiet on the outside. This is either evidence for my insanity, harbingers of future senility, or an indication that I no longer am inclined to just chatter away without thinking before I speak. I hope it's the latter, though the former two could be rather interesting and amusing in their own ways.
Ah well, random topics of conversation are what blogs are for, right? You'll all probably read more of them than most people will hear .
I picked up some Christmas cards today, I'm hoping to start sending them to friends annually (at Christmastime, no less!). I feel so old .
Well, I think that's enough random chatter for now, I have to go give the dogs a bath while the weather's still in the 70's (that's just so wrong...).

    I haven't painted in over a week - no wonder I'm going so crazy @_@ ! (going?)

     Type at y'all later !

My last post of the summer???

  Hello any and all!

I'm not sure if I'll have time to get online tomorrow, so this may be my last post of the summer. I'm headed back to school (Pensacola Christian College) on monday and my internet access will be limited after that. It's been a goodly memorable summer, and I've enjoyed getting back in contact with many of you. If any of you guys (meaning people I've chatted with here before) don't have my Gmail or Comcast e-mail addresses and would like them, please leave me a comment saying so. I'll try to check back tomorrow [edit: today] after church before I pack my computer and if I can get you the address via the CPN or AP/SW sites' message services, I will.

*Sigh* Mixed feelings about this semester... I'm looking forward to going back, but I like being at home, too. I feel almost like I'm leading two different lives and they're getting tangled. Perhaps what's really bothering me is how quicky time slips away from me - my freshman year went by so quickly, and I know the rest of college will too. Ah well, time always was a fickle thing, or maybe that's only a recent development ? "Bah!" on this whole time/space continuum thingy!

Anyway, it's late and I have to get back to packing... Goodbye for this semester, I'll be thinking of and praying for you - you each know who you are .

Remember, more people are praying for you than you know.

Prov 3:5-6, Psalm 20,
