    Almost done being sick!

Ok I have been sick 3 times in 2 weeks.  Not fun.    I am still dazed but on the mend.  Hopefull soon I'll be able to enjoy the awesome summer weather.

My books will go out later this week.

I'll start posting, too, when better.

I played World of Warcraft whilst ill, and thought it was ok, and wonder if it will be when not taking Dayquil.

I'll also soon post some pictures of the new apartment, which is almost moved in, just need to clean up last room (boxes of crap against westward wall) and put up paintings/fotos/etc.

    Love ya

    Complaints and Grievances

    weekend, illness, RIP George Carlin

So last week I was ill.  I pretty much just worked, slept, put books on bookshelves, watched bad tv, drank 2 different kinds of Nyquil (green and red-orange, night and day respectively), and talked a bunch to a nice girl.

This weekend was great.  I went on a extremely-hard-describe men's retreat and it was really cool.  There was a lot of singing, discussion, hiking, sharing.  I don't know how to describe it but I felt like I really grew this weekend, took some chances, changed a little.

I have a spreadsheet of books i want to get rid of that I will post tonight or tomorrow.

    **peace**

  • update and stuff

    still alive!

moved in to my new digs, but things are a bit crowded and I'm all boxed in!

I will take some pictures soon of the new digs.

Also I am getting rid of a few 100 books that I'd be willing to part with for wildly low prices. I think I'll post the titles; let me know if you want them.

About Me

  • I love history, drama, philosophy, & literature. I love fresh coffee, good food (esp Indian and Thai), pale ale and wine. I was a university history and English TA/student/instructor and am currently a database administrator. Technology fascinates me, which is lucky as I work with it (databases--Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server); but stories fascinate me more. I love all my nieces and nephews immensely :) I'm nuts about dogs. I am a new-ish Anglican, a recovering Fundamentalist. Currenlty am learning how to x country ski, ice skate and rollerblade.
