The Legendary U2 Irish Band U2 was formed in the exciting city of Dublin, Ireland in Oct., 1976. This Irish rock band featuring Bono ( Paul Hewson) on vocals and guitar is my favorite. He contributes a lot to the society by helping the poor and HIV/ AIDS from an agonizing death. He mainly travels to Africa and speaks to important people including Oprah and many presidents of Africa. He also took a trip with the famous actor/ comedian, Chris Rock. My life has changed in the issue of poverty and AIDS through this powerful quote of him," Will American Christians stand by as an entire continent dies?" Through this, I have prayed and given money to the organization of World Help.
The famous legendary band, U2, has impacted the world today through their music. Their music has been heard all around the world through internet, radio, and tv. Also they have won a massive significant Grammy Awards throughout the years. One of my favorite songs of them is "Pride". This is one of their classic's and it has become one of their top eighteen top hits. According to Bono, singer, stated this about "Pride", "the most succesful pop song we’ve ever written. You can see there is a certain craft to the songwriting. I use the word ‘pop’ in the best possible sense; pop for me is an easily understood thing, you listen to it and you comprehend it almost immediately. You relate to it instinctively." This song was written in the 80's.
Beautiful Day was indeed a top single hit. This hit went number one in the UK. This song provides hope in finding friendships and different aspects in life including the beauty of this world that we live in. This song according to Bono was a difficult mix of putting different elements of music style. This song has a significant impact in my life. This song truly encourages my heart by making me realize that I need to acknowledge every day that passes by is a beautiful day. Bono has taken a massive stand in the world of music, activism, and Christianity. He thrives to sing on stage with his band U2 and sings to an enormous amount of fans all around the world. He is a loving family man which has been highly rewarding to him. He wants to excel in being a great leader to the world through his band U2. U2 has impacted my life by music and especially through the lyrics of their most recent songs and old songs too. |
