| played mahjong with terumi, riana, and catharina yesterday.. >_> wasn't able to pick up some tiles because i was being nice and yielded them.. ate subway for lunch... ate gelato.. peeled off the crayola wax things off of the windows.. played life.. and chinese checkers XD i helped riana and terumi a lot o_o for some reason they couldn't see the multiple jumps for big wins until i announced how many marbles was the max possible and/or pointed it out... T_T which resulted in me losing haha.. then we were noisy and went into the living room to look at riana's baby pictures.. aww how cute.. =P and drew pictures.. i drew a squid, octopus, banana, spongebob, and the japanese doll that riana had on display in the room... we were supposed to go out to eat dinner with riana and her family.. but it didn't feel right.. if you know most asian families, they'll be like "why did you stay all day at their house? and they're feeding you as well? you didn't even give them anything... aren't you ashamed?" and that sort of a lecture -_-;; BUT riana's dad is reallllly good at persuading.. and making you feel like you're the bad guy XD yea.. so we went home soon after
i got a new cellphone ^-^ yay! it's so much better than my old one
andd.... FINALLLLYY.. OMFGYESSS... I HAVE MY OWN ROOM (unless nandina changes her mind)!!!!! after 16.7 yrs... i finally have my own room :D... but it looks really empty where the bunk bed used to be o_o haha my mom hasn't even finished moving the stuff from the other room.. so there's a lot of junk in their room.. buwahaha... >_> but i'm only going to live in the room for 2 more years.. and then i'll have to go to college -_- better than nothing i guess..

| today, terumi and i went to jo's house to play mahjong even though my mom told me not to go out. xP she went out to SF to visit my grandma so she doesn't know that i went. but she'll know later through the"asian mom connections"... meaning she'll talk to jo's mom or terumi's mom and that subject will pop up... but it doesn't matter too much :D yea.. while playing, i drank jasmine tea and ate almond cookies lol.. haven't had those cookies in the longest time. meh. i won some and lost some. nobody really "four-ed" anybody this time :/
we got bored after a while and started to play Life (the board game) the last time i played was when i played against terumi... which didn't end up so well for her. i chanted "mansion mansion mansion!" and she somehow picked the mansion putting her into a great debt XD this time, jo had bad luck... she didn't really land on any of the pay days! where as i almost hit every single one lol ... it was so much worse than terumi and i didn't even say anything this time! XD so she first had 120 thousand dollars in debt from buying her house.. then she had to pay terumi and i for landing on the spots that had our occupation :P that was a lot of money.. then she landed on other spaces that put her into more debt... i'm not sure how much debt she was in.. we stopped adding after a while.. because she probably couldn't pay it off anyhow haha it was over 380 thousand i think.. but i decided to be nice and pay 280 thousand? or something like that.. i forgot... but since i paid off her debt.. she had to exchange the same amount of life tiles for it.. buwahhahaa.. so at the end of the game.. i had 1.7 million dollars from the tiles lol :P terumi and i laughed like crazy because of how much debt jo was in.. i never saw anyone with that much bad luck XD she also had a son, a daughter and a set of twins in the game. the car was split into 1/2 guys and gals.. for some reason, terumi started cracking up.. causing me to crack up for no reason.. and i just couldn't stop @_@ haha
we went to the park later.. terumi and i walked while jo rode her bike. terumi can't ride a bike. she almost killed me 4 times while riding jo's bike! O_o yeesh. she doesn't know how to turn or something? or maybe she's really nearsighted :P
summer's fun so far, but soon i have to start busting my ass off studying for the SATs D: ew. junior year is going to suck.

| apparently i can speak cat... o_O it runs in the family? jkjk but my aunt had a whole bunch of stray cats when she was little..
yesterday there were 4 lil kitties stuck underneath rm # 21 portable of ponderosa... supposedly a lady managed to catch 3 of the kitties and took them to the vet.
my 2nd grade teacher teaches in rm 21 (she was interviewing to-be-2nd-grade-teachers in the summer), and she heard the mews of a small kitty and gave it a saucer full of ice cream (that's not too good for it?) terumi and i were playing badminton again and we heard my teacher and another talk about a kitty and checked it out.. the kitty went back underneath the railing and hid (it was scared of the other teacher?) so i chatted for a while with my teacher until i saw the lil kitty again. it was a tabby. it still had lil blue eyes. >_< so small! she kept calling the kitty with "here kitty kitty kitty!" but to no avail. -__-;; then she did MEOWS o_O;; so i tried calling the kitty... because if i was the kitty and heard her meows, i would be scared too xD
so i did a whole bunch of "mew mewmew mew" o_o it was pretty embarrassing.. but it worked.. the kitty came out from its hiding spot and then went towards me... but it went under the railing instead of over it.. so i had to walk around the other side and call the kitty o_o then my teacher caught it and put it in a box. and covered it. o_o i think she should have poked holes in the box.. it was pretty hot today...
oh we saw the janitor/custodian again today -0- he's so mean. we were playing in the hallways as we did before cuz none of the teachers said anything.. but he said "you need to go play somewhere else. people have to go in and out of the hallways to go do their work" wth? it's summer so there's not many teachers/staff working there anyways.. and we always stop to let other people go.. -__- we shouldn't have stopped for him. rwar.
then jo comes "running" to us later.. played badminton for a while... then this random mexican guy on a bike comes up to terumi and asks if he can play badminton with us... wtf...? so there was silence... and terumi speaks first.. "uh.. i dunno... ask my friends" XD wthhh? she's so weird..then he left and we played some more before going to terumi's house to watch her make dinner... well sorta
we laughed a lot at random things... i almost died laughing.. laughed so hard i couldn't breathe.. so i had to crawl to the hallway and calm myself down.. wow that was crazy.. haven't laughed like that in a while :D
played one mahjong game.. well we had to find her mahjong set first.. we looked everywhere before she told us to look in the garage.. terumi gave me the keys and i opened the door of the garage.. and i scan the garage with my eyes until... i run into the garage with only my socks on and scream "OMG I FOUND ITTTTT!! BWUAHAHAHA!".. (and i forgot to close the garage door XD) yesss.. then jo had to go.. so terumi and i persuaded her to stay longer (which she did xP) by saying "are you SUREEE??" we were synchronized the first time we said it ^0^ that was cool. but jo left a little later.. and came back.. saying that there were random mexican guys and people walking XD.. cuz we kept on telling her to wait a little longer.. and that she shouldn't go home cuz people would stalk her hahhah.. so the 2nd time.. i walked with her part-way... and there wasn't any random or strange things/people on the street.. only cars passed by lol.. and we saw bradley's dad driving past us.. well i guess that was sorta random..

| yesterday... sneaked into the unlocked cafeteria/multipurpose room of ponderosa..(our old elementary school) and played badminton in there for 15 minutes with terumi... so scared that we were going to get caught... i don't know how terumi persuaded me to go in.. >-<;; i'm very cowardly... i guess badminton>fear =P
today... terumi, catharina and i played badminton in the hallways of
ponderosa.. it was fun :DD then we went to my house to check my mailbox
for my report card... gianotti gave me an A? WTFFFFF??? o_O;;; A- at
the most it should be!! >_<;;; and i had an A- in math so i was
happy :) i prayed to the sky god (i'm atheist/buddhist? but superstitious much?) b4 i opened it.. terumi thought i was
crazy.. well usually i pray to my ancestors b4 opening but as we were
walking back to terumi's house... i can't really pray in front of the
ancestral altar can i? so yay.. i got all As :) happyy
catharina had to go afterwards :( i was going to go to her house
because terumi's mom was going to give her a ride.. but tt's mom had to
go to work right after dropping her off.. so i couldn't go with her..
SOOOOOOOoo... i stayed at tt's house and helped to cook dinner
for her family :DDD it was so fun!!!! XDDD (well maybe only for me

after i left XD), bean sprouts, and ... steamed (spare) ribs? (not sure
how to say it in english)
:DD i helped peel the eggplant T_T and i cut it differently
than terumi did.. wah.. >_< i should have asked tt... she cubed it and i squared it.. lol jkjk.. i cut it into thick slices.. o well..

she cut the spare ribs into little cubes.. then she asked me
how to marinate the spare ribs o_o with black bean sauce.. we just use
the black beans at home.. not black bean sauce.. >3< so i sorta
winged the marinating... black bean sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce,
sugar, salt, sesame oil, oiled the pan... and corn starch... i forgot
the GINGER and GARLIC D: FAILLLLL... ahahahahaha... ;;;>_> er..
but the spare ribs... steamed for 1 hr...too long.. but we sorta forgot
about it... ahahhahaha.... so i guess it was cooked enough.. i forgot
how to tell if it was cooked or not (asked my mom at home XD) and then
had terumi become my sacrificial lamb ehehe.. she said it tasted good..
but i think she's lying.. we'll see what her parents say ahhahaha

racket!" T_T doesn't he know a badminton racket when he sees one?

i didn't really expect it to work o_o first my partner held it like 2 feet above a metal table and dropped it on the table... THUNK! opened the container... didn't break! O_O..
next level of testing it... holding it over the head and dropping it onto the floor... THUNK! ... still didn't break..
after that.. threw it up.... hit the near the top of the side of the small gym... then THUNKED on the ground.. still survived!
final test was going to the second story of the high school and dropping it out the window... nearly all the teachers left.. my friends and i saw a spanish teacher talking with my 9th grade geometry teacher, Mr. Marshall, and waited until they finished talking... we told the spanish teacher the situation and he agreed, but the problem was that there was an overhanging.. so we tried Marshall's room.. there was a space in the overhanging so we were able to drop it :DD my friend's foamy container went plop! and mine went THUNK! and did a little somersault! and the egg had no cracks! :) the gladware didn't break either haha... that was 20 ft drop or so? the real thing is supposed to be 28ft i think
rice doesn't seem like it'd help much.. the gladware helped i guess... but the egg would have broken if there was no rice in there.. the sticky rice was so sticky that it held the egg in place? but seriously the rice was hella sticky.. i tried flinging it and scraping it off D: but to no avail.. i ended up having to wash/ more scraping it off of my hands
and wtf? someone threw flour all over sensei's car? -_-;
