  • Update via bullets:

    • I am currently sitting in the Olsen Library in the IMS office...doing, well this. So nothing really.
    • I have gas, and it kind of hurts
    • It was warmer today, probably around 34 and sunny
    • I am ready for summer, and more specifically; Ultimate.
    • I had a puppy, named Rogue (a yellow lab) for about a month and a half. She was a handful, I had to give her to a better home.  I miss her.
    • I spent Christmas in Marquette with Schramm.  It rocked.  Schramm Rocks.
    • I long for the warm summer and a hike in the northern hardwoods and conifers of the Upper Peninsula
    • Don't know what I am doing this summer
    • Everyday I want to do wildland firefighting more and more out west
    • ONE PROBLEM...
    • I have yet to apply
    • I am going to L.A. in two days to visit my bro and his betrothed, and to hang with Schramm
    • It would be convenient if Irene and Erin would live in MQT.  The "originals" are almost extinct.
    • Global Warming is now more appropriately called "Global Climate Change"
    • I drink a gallon of milk every two and a half days...good thing I don't drive!
  • I'm bringing Xanga back - drop a comment if you're with me!

Things going on in Josh´s life:

This past week I was in my second earthquake.  It was measured at 7.9 on that one dude´s scale.  My first one I dont really even count; I was in Alaska and it was less than a second.  But this one lasted for almost 2 minutes.  It was pretty interesting to have the ground moving like it was beneath my feet.

I am currently sitting in a crappy internet shop holding a prized chitimoiya...no idea how to spell that.  Jesus and I just went to the Mercado to buy some sweet potatoes and while we were there we found some of the delicious fruit that is as we speak perched upon my lap so delicately.  In all honesty I haven't even tried it yet, but Alice says its like candy. I like candy.  It has taken me about five minutes to type this last paragraph because the keys are so flipping dirty. Not sticky, DIRTY.

Point number three.  I am listening to BackStreet Boys.  Not by choice.  Silly peruvians.  No taste in music. ´´my love is all i have to gi-ive, without you i dont think i would li-ive´´  Yes lovely.

Umm.  God is flippin sweet.  He has blessed me so much here in Peru.  His heart to serve others is certainly present.  Everyone here at Little Lambs is such a servant, it blows me away.  And they have such joy.  Pretty humbling when I think about how much I complain about doing the dishes once a day, if that.  Maybe once a week.

Oh Joy.  I guess the proprietors of this here little Internet ´´cafe´´ have blessed my ears...with the BackStreet Boys CD!  That makes you larger than life!

I might be getting to the point of unrest with the extent of my spanish skills.  Speaking in extremely fragmented ´´sentences´´ must be quite annoying for the people listening to me everyday, not to mention for myself.

    Well then.

...its been a while my loyal fan base...all none of you. News update; I am in Peru.  Lima to be exact.  There are 12 million people in this city covered in eternal clouds that decide to occasionally mist upon the dry and dusty earth.  There are two places I am staying during my time in Lima.  One is in the South Central part of Lima, the other is in the western part, and it takes about 45 minutes to get from one the the other.  To go from one end of the city to the other, it would take more than two hours with good traffic, and that doesnt exactly exist here in Lima. Hmm I do understand why I do not update this page very often; it is because I am quite bad at spitting out coherent thoughts.  But God is good.  I am learning to be more flexible and willing; though I daresay I have much to learn.  Perserverence is also something required, as I speak un poco castiano, y en Lima todos personas hablan castiano solomente.  Not completely, God has blessed me with a few english speakers, and I have simply conersed with them and not used them as a crutch, though I am quite lame.

Hace Trabajar?...there is work to do.
