Minori Smile Seasons special vol.4
Contents:
Today I am presenting you my rip of rare not-for-sale DVD from official Minori Chihara fanclub, 「おもひでづくり ~特別編~」. Having "4" in its name it contains recordings from three previous specials being held at Minori birthday events from 2008 to 2010. It's really nice to watch and see Minorin having fun in informal atmosphere with her team, visiting various places across Japan. The DVD is split to 3 volumes for each year's activities, the last one being split into 3 more parts for several months of events. Continue reading

I don't care
«I don't really care much about the film industry - they get enough money from cinemas. Musicians - from live concerts, Micro$oft - preinstalled software, price of which is already included in PC's cost; manga artists get published in paid magazines, anime-studios broadcast their stuff on TV, which pays them quite a lot, game developers will loot console users. The only people who get really underpaid are developers of highly specialized software, like Wolfram - they can't into wholesale, while individual users just download their products from P2P. This hinders the industry.»

Double release post
Have you ever thought, that this is kinda unfair, when albums are being released without instrumental versions for every song, while singles usually have them? Well, I do understand, that CD capacity of 700 MBs is not enough to hold both average album (~500 MB) and the corresponding instrumentals, but why not release 2 CDs in one packaging or maybe separate, so that the price of the actual single is not affected? So far the only album that has its instrumentals released was Mizuki Nana's Ultimate Diamond and even this was a quite "special" release, not freely available for buying (more details here). I'm not taking into account 2 Minorin's Unification albums, since they are rather "unrelated" to existing albums and have quite rearranged music. One might think, that album's instrumentals are never being actually recorded or stored anywhere after album's release, unlike singles' ones, but that's not true - sometimes you can hear these instrumental versions being played in live concerts as background (i.e. not performed live by musicians on the stage), usually in credits section.
The very fact of the instrumentals being played at live concerts and the release of Unifications, as well as the awesomeness of Kikuta Daisuke's music in early Minorin's songs (that is, before yet including Parade album, when there still everything was about violins) motivated me to investigate further, whether there is something I can do to fix such an unfairness. And sure I found the way. Continue reading

Minami-ke! 5 no 2! Utamatsuri Dayo! Hokago Daibakuhatsu!! +1000 pix
Today I'm sharing my DVD-rip of aforementioned live concert, which was released 2009.04.22. Well, it was kinda 2 years ago, and I came up with it only now, late you say? Not late until someone makes it before me, that's what I think. And the only 2 rips of this DVD I found so far were of quite low quality (1.3 Gb one) or low availability (2.5 Gb one, from Perfect Dark). In case you expect to see the performance review, go to danie's blog entry, otherwise enjoy the "making of" the rip here: Continue reading

Happy (belated) birthday, Minorin!
Birthdays... this is when you tend to remember good old days and your evolution since then. Let's try to:
Some might like to enjoy these collections of early Minorin:
