How good it is to be...

How good it is to be blind, hidden from the innocence, pain and anguish of the world, where you cant see those who laugh at you and point at your humiliation, and all the imperfect things in this world seem to fade away

How good it is to be deaf, where no bad comments can be heard about yourself, no loud obscenities would be known and no racial slur to be heard and the virtuality of teaching hate would be gone.

How good it is to be a mute, where anger can be kept inside you, where no evil you may speak and where nothing is said to someone to hurt them.

Oh, how good it is to be....

The developments of scientific thought from Copernicus to Newton had helped create a new view of the universe the placement of humanity. The development of the heliocentric theory from Copernicus and Galileo had completely contradicted the popular and more widely believed in geocentric theory. This had placed doubts in the place of humanity within the universe and changed the look on how the universe was made up. Also, through the scientific discoveries of Kepler and Newton, the way people looked at how the universe and the world around them work. It was no longer a great mystery of God but through the works of scientific laws. The scientific developments from Copernicus to Newton had showed the world how the universe had really worked and the placement of humanity within it.

Before the studies of Copernicus and other astronomers and scientists, the world had very different thoughts about the placement of humanity within the universe. People had thought that humans were in the very center in the universe and that everything else in the sky had revolved around it. However, when Copernicus had published his works about how the Earth revolved around the sun and the scientific studies of Galileo had proved this theory, these views had begun to take a drastic change. Not only had their works proved wrong about how the universe had worked, it had shook up the view that humanity was within the center of the universe, the most important thing on earth. Then, people had begun to doubt whether or not they were really as important as they thought they were in the past.

Though people had doubts about the placement of humanity, many people had still thought that the universe had worked through a divine force. They had believed that something or someone was making the universe work. Then, Brahe through his data and Kepler with his three laws of planetary motion had proved that something was making it work, but it was not this mystical or divine force, it was through gravity. This idea was reinforced later with the scientific findings of Isaac Newton with his law of gravity. Thus, the entire view of the universe had been changed by the works of a few men.
